In this episode, we examine questions 31-40 of the Westminster Shorter Catechism, which focus on the Ten Commandments and their application to the Christian life. These questions help us understand how God’s moral law is a guide for living in obedience to Him and reflecting His holiness in the world.
We’ll explore each commandment in detail, discussing how they reveal God’s character and how they point us to the gospel of grace. From the first commandment, which calls us to love God above all, to the last commandment, which cautions against coveting, we’ll see how the commandments shape our relationships with God and one another.
This episode will also explore how believers are called to live out God’s law in a way that honors Him, knowing that Christ has fulfilled the law on our behalf and empowers us to walk in holiness.
