I was rooting for him the whole time too!! I was SO relieved when he got into that van! Ughhh...I was frustrated when I saw he hadn't even moved!😭

Well done. Only a couple things I wondered about. Seems he forgot his rifle at one point. He might shouldn't have panicked at the sound of the wolves howling. Keeping ones wits is important, but I admit howling wolves would be rather frightening. I didn't get the ending. He's back under the tree, so was much of it a dream? Was overall very good and had some really great tips for survival. The fire stick, hatchet, the knife, blanket, bungee cord, first aide kit, all useful and life saving items. Nicely done.

I hunted big game, alone, in the mountains, for over forty years. I've spent weeks and weeks traveling through the bush on snowshoes with my rifle and survival gear, sometimes at forty below zero. A few times I got back to my cabin, thinking, that was a close one, could have ended really badly. Somehow I never died and never seriously injured myself. A few times I had close calls, especially in extreme cold. Too bad the young guy in this movie didn't see that tree coming. Sometimes mistakes, out in the wilderness, especially when one is alone, are fatal.

He not an experience person....he knows less than my son when he was 9!

My thought was , where are you going and why...then , why did you not try and look for your rifle...then , a typical " dreaming" ending but still surprising.

This person had no business being in the woods!
Don't want to give it away....but I have been lost a few times in the woods and thankfully always in kind weather....head down and follow water...if you can. It generally leads to civilization

Yes it's one of the great dangers of walking in the woods, that:out of the blue a tree might suddenly just fall over for no reason, and fall on your head.🤔 - Other than that.. Given not least that he didn't seem to use any tinder for the sparks to catch in while he was chopping away on that steel, I was very surprised that in the next clip it seemed his efforts had none the less somehow miraculously resulted in fire.. Am I guessing right that the makers of this video aren't big on actual wilderness survival themselves? Call it a hunch.. If I'm to give abit of constructive advice here: Doing preliminary research on such things, before you start filming, might be a good idea.

A what if when Situation. If he would know how to act in Situations like that, he could get Safe. But he didnt…

So if someone doesn’t understand he got lost in the forest and tried to get out and he got hit by a falling tree which made him unconscious and he dreamed about him leaving the forest but he woke up and that was the end,

Couldn't find any sympathy for this guy. Left his rifle, dropped his compass too no notice of the route back. But a good ending
And forgot to take his snowshoes too...darwin award winner!
And left behind the emergency mylar blanket.

not surprising to see he was dreaming about rescue considering he was concussed. I really thought there was gonna be a darker twist to the story, one where we find out he has just been "rescued" by one of Canada's most prolific serial killers...

How Many Men have Been Lost this Way With The Same Dream The Last Dream
Seems to me… that injury is a potential you must consider possible when going out into the wild. Best to go with another person. What if he did shoot a deer… could he get it back with just the gear he has?
