hey, capcom turned dmc around to glory from its god awful reboot, maybe they can do the same with bionic commando. i mean, it has the same strengths and flaws as the dmc reboot. good gameplay, good ost, just needs a better story. though i dont know how they would explain spencer being alive (if they do bring him back). maybe they pull a halo 3 and say he just survived the fall somehow?

This game clearly didn't have the success it deserved. I had a blast and look back on it with nostalgia. It has tons of flaws, but it was cool ride. R.I.P. GRIN.

everything capcom touches is near perfect, this game was no exception - The front man from faith no more as the voice of Nathan "Rad" Spencer was sublime - with his dystopian outlook fit the bill - with the full theatrical score and.... Joe as the bad guy was the perfect eclipse for the story arc started so many years ago... please capcom add a sequel there were so many unanswered questions...
This game had so many great parts, I just wish it had been released at a time and place where games where allowed to be fun instead of brooding edgy bullshit. A full 3D game with the style and attitude of Re-Armed, that would be truly amazing.
I actually still want a sequel to his game. The devs completely screwed up the Wanted game but they actually created something incredible with this one and the multiplayer was soooooo damn fun. The least they could do is re release it on PSN AND XBL, especially with the next gen systems in the PS5 and XseriesX coming in the fall
Bestest (lol) version of this classic track. I remember the original game feeling so creepy to me, but cool at the same time, it was the Japanese version I had played. It inspired a little comic, which took place in an alternate world. History is the same, up until post revolutionary war. George Washington, listens to the people, and decides to become a king, which gives United States, a monarchy, instead of presidency, and because then there are no parties, the whole slave thing never happens, because the Democrat party doesn't happen, so then there is also no Civil War, no Whig, or Republican party either lol. During the industrial revolution, steam technology becomes very advanced, along with other sciences which of course changes militaries in huge ways. The people are pretty prosperous, because the economic chancellor, is basically Calvin Coolidge. So all of these awesome projects are done, like a bridge that connects America, to England. The Communist movement does not happen, because Marx falls deeper into madness quickly, and kills himself, Lenin is killed in a terrorist attack, by a group of people who have a worse ideology than both Communism, and Fascism.. Mussolini dies in the first war, so Hitler doesn't get inspired from that, he can't anyway, because he too dies in the first war (he doesn't get to his mask in time when the mustard gas happens.. Oopsie), and Japan never gets all crazy evil either lol. There are just a lot of terrorist attacks all over the world, by a group of people who start their own country, their flag is the symbol of chaos, and they want to bring that to the world, so they can shape the world to how they want. The comic was like Steampunk G.I JOE lol, with characters from different countries, and specialties. I made a game of it, with a few friends in high school. It was Steampunk Final Fantasy Tactics 100% lol (minus the magic, though "high science" was the magic), was also inspired by Band of Brothers (mostly the soundtrack). Both the comic, and game were called "Special Mission Force Valken". Main character was the youngest son of Washington XXV, and he wants to join the war, because he deeply cares for the soldiers he sees injured or killed. So conceals his identity as prince Luke Washington, and becomes a combat medic. He befriends the other character, Marius who is a military experiment. Marius was killed as a kid, and is angry as he dies, because he wanted to avenge the death of his little brother. His consciousness is put into a synthetic body, making him somewhat of a super soldier (he was also the tank in our game lol). It was just his soldier training, that was supposed to go into the synthetic body, but all of his memories do, and it becomes a problem, when he wants to be free. At first he is kind of hostile or just very hard on the main character, but he is like this, because if the main character reminds him of his younger brother, and so if he is killed in combat, it would be like losing him again, so he is hard on him so that if he were killed, it wouldn't bother him too much, but after they rescue a town of people, and Luke almost dies, he then fully treats him like his younger brother... I had actually created the two characters in Fallout 4, getting them to look 98% how they appeared in the comic, save for the outfits, which were Brotherhood of Steel lol. If I were to have the game done today, I would still want it to be strategy like FFT (mixed with XCOM 2), but the maps, and characters would be more like Tom Clancy Division, along with gearing them up, and it would be semi-turn based, making you have to make faster decision. There would be no limit on movement, except if a character is injured. But just because you can move anywhere, doesn't mean you should, and the further you move, the more AP you drain, which will make you tired.
The sad thing is we may never see another bionic commando game...

This playing during combat sections was pretty cool and really got me pumped up when mowing down soldiers with the rocket launcher.
