You know what's crazy my Dad and I just did a run from Texas to Colorado for 9,600 hauling tires in dbls an had to unload. He didn't like it cause he's out of shape I didn't mind it since I used to work for FedEx and constantly workout 🤣😂. TO ALL TRUCKERS! Bro ur fuel only doubled. If u run 2500 miles a week and pay 800 more (1600 weekly total ) it’s only .32 cents more a mile. .32 is a huge increase but not close to a dollar more a mile.

There’s really no Best truck for hotshot but their are trucks out there that you don’t want to get for hotshot.
I'm about to start my hotshot but im doing non cdl im from Houston Texas. Where did you go to get your cdl from?
Man I’m not gonna lie, if you don’t have any contacts out of Houston it can get stressful coming out right now. Definitely talk to ppl in the industry and find out how the market is and what the future holds. Non CDL is tough if you don’t have the right model/structure. But I got my CDL at a school called CDL Emerald.

I do have them. I have magnets but I took them off cause I was going to the truck wash across the street but got lazy and didn’t go.
What is the advantage to having a 5500 over a 3500? I'm thinking the 5500 will have a higher pin weight rating but I thought they both tow the same or very close.
None zero doesn't pull any more weight maintenance is double insurance is 30% higher rides like crap and your a bigger dot target
I chose a 5500 because I can put more weight on my drives. Insurance is not 30%, insurance is base on the value of the truck and MVR.

I use two 14oz Super Lightweight Steel Tarps. 27’x16’. I have a link in my description for all my securement items 👍🏽
Mac 2 a mile is not 3 a mile. At most ur fuel has gone up .35 a mile. At 2.35 ur still making the same profit as 2 a mile. Stay humble homie and keep the grind !
