Hi it's Glen I just want to elaborate a little on what Corinna said about me walking, yes I am walking and thank God for that, it's the most walking I have done in the past five weeks since my fall. I walk from my bed to the to the toilet which is about two feet away or from the bed to my handicap scooter thats about five feet from the bed. How I walk is I lean on the handicap bars that Corinna just installed and I just shuffle my feet along the floor.lol..My ankle sprains are feeling much better but my left knee I still have some pretty good pain in it, hopefully with time it just heals up on it's own without needing surgery. Thanks to everyone for your thoughts and prayers.
Hi, Glen! I broke my left knee in January 2022 and chose not to have surgery. Just to let you know that by now I can sit cross legged again and am able to get down on my hands and knees to look under furniture. As of a week ago I can actually squat again. It will never be as comfortable as it was before, but it for sure heals by itself if you give it enough time.
Praise God and keep on moving forward glen!! You are stronger than you think! 😊 With each day give a little more...one day at a time ...bless you in all ways...your c.a.friend

Those plastic egg containers are great for camping. You can put your eggs in it and then put it into your cooler and they wont get smashed while staying cold.

You remind me so much of myself. I made decisions on my own mainly due to the fact he was in so much pain and I didn't want him to be stressed any further. Towards the end, I managed all his care, appts, meds. Everything concerning our lives I took care of. If you are receiving government or state help qualifying criteria may change once you're legally married. Just something to keep in mind if applicable in your case. Many blessings to you and Glen. 🙏

It is amazing how life becomes more positive when you do that but still work on solutions in the process. I am so glad you are handing it over to him and pushing through! You could also check for home healthcare assistance for Glen. I am sure he qualifies and you can apply to be his caregiver and get paid for it. Please check in on that so you can get some assistance with that as well.

I hope you guys get to marry soon. I know you have been waiting a long time for it and I'm waiting to see the wedding vlog! As for saying someone "gave up" I think is unfair. We only see someone's nightmare from the outside and we can never know what it is truly like for that person. We also can't force someone to keep going through it either. We have to respect and accept when someone says they have had enough of their medical nightmare as hard as that is. When my world was flipped upside down in 2018-19 as I got more and more sick with no answers or treatments, I was ready to quit because I lost all hope that anyone could help me. I knew that if I didn't get the help, that whatever was going on would kill me. Turns out, my gut feeling was right and thankfully I have great Doctors and treatments (meds) that help me get through each day. I wouldn't be here right now if I didn't. There's been a couple surgeries too. It took me a long time to grieve the loss of who I used to be because that Angie is gone forever and my family has struggled with that as well. I'm slowly started to accept this new Angie because I have no choice. I don't want to ever go back to how bad it was.
