Great video Iona, that is a very nice bag setup and you have a lovely golf swing, I have also just been fitted into the Titleist GT3 driver but with a Mitsubishi Diamana WB 63 TX shaft so I cannot wait to start playing golf with it once the weather improves.
Some LPGA players might be envious of that bag. 😅 Putter is stunning and I'm sure it feels like butter. Just ordered a Toulon Las Vegas carbon steel putter. Looking forward to the classic feel.
Iona, you and I hit the same GT3 driver. I just wish I could learn to hit mine as well and consistently as you do. Happy Christmas and thank you again for all you do to help make my golf game better.
If you need to add 1" to you putter but want to keep the swing weight you need instead to add 2" and grip down. The extra inch will act as counter weight.
👍I mark the ball with the same approach. That way one of my marks is always visible no matter the position the ball lies anywheres on the course saving me pickin' it up to id it
Great stuff Iona! I was wondering, did you do any extra wraps of tape under the grip for your right hand to bulk up the grip a bit to encourage lighter grip pressure to protect your wrist? I love the setup. I play the same wedge lofts and bounces. I live in Arizona, and we have a lot of really tight lies with burned out grass that I love the T grind in my lob.
Does going to a proper brand fitting site make a difference or not. How much better can it be compared to your local golf fitting centre like an American Golf store
Very generic thing to say but it depends on the golfer, club and fitter. Driver can be done anywhere because it's teed up but wedges can be tricky because lie and bunkers cannot be simulated. Another option is to see a good coach. He or she may verify if a club is working for you or against you and have options to test.
@ thanks for that. I have only ever had one sitting in my life and from what I have seen from fittings on her I got nothing like what I should have. But then again I don’t know how much time I fitter should give an average golfer
@@Gra8332 There are different levels of fittings. Standard is a retail store. There, you can have an experienced fitter or someone who is not as experienced. That can take 30 to 45 min. Then, there's specific fitters like Club Champion or Golf MD here in the States. That can be an hour or two or multiple sessions on different days for irons, driver and putter. Lastly, Iona's getting a pro-level fitting. That's what pros on the PGA and LPGA get. That might take half a day depending on what is needed. That's only what I've seen on RUclips because I'm not that good, haha. I would say the easiest way to start is to schedule a putter fitting at a spot with a camera and fitting software. That's what I did. I took a few of my putters, they recorded me making 10 putts and then the fitter analyzed my swing on his computer and made adjustments to my putter for optimal launch conditions and swing recommendations. They can also fit you for a new putter. It helped me a lot because I needed -1 degree of loft and most putters are +3 or 4 degrees. Very worthwhile because the putter is the most used club in the bag. And after getting fit, my putts felt much better too and putting has been very enjoyable, especially when I drop big putts and my buddies need to pick up their jaws from the greens. Hah. Good luck. Golf well in 2025.
@@ontheroadwithiona I agree that the Titleist T100 are fantastic irons but for me the Cobra King CB just gave me slightly better numbers and they look amazing so I went with those instead,
when you say hard work on the range its 0 degrees here! great video BTW

I play Nippon 950's in my irons. GREAT shafts - extremely smooth.
Great video and explanation of "why". I told you the Nippon 850 was a shaft to check out! ;)
Can't beat a good WITB vid Iona love it
Merry Christmas all ❤
music done me in

Super content, Iona! Keep up the good work.

What clubs would you use if you weren’t sponsored by titliest? Or what clubs did you use before? was it always titleist
I used ping before and loved them but genuinely the T100’s are the best irons I’ve ever had and I’ll be keeping them in my bag for a very long time.

The thing is people always like to tell you to add more loft. Not always the best.
What happened to your beloved 7-wood?
The ugly zone❤❤
