Besides collecting really old Barbie’s, the Barbie extra line is something I am obsessed with. Some are so over the top extra they remind me of 90s Barbie’s. Mattel hit the mark on 95% of these Queen’s. I live for the Barbienation ❤Mandy Bradshaw is the best name ever.

I bought this doll because finally it was an extra doll whose clothes actually matched. Yep I’m an old boring matchy matchy. 😂 the third look was my favorite. I find that her hair color is similar to Barbie Looks #7, although that one has more orange in with the plum color.
Okay - I've been waiting for this one! She's on my buy list, but I needed a trusted source to review her first. Here we are!!!

She's a stunning doll for sure, her face and hair is what we all want from Barbie in general, when I first saw her I simply said she's so SITC! You can just picture her running around New York in those heels! to go meet the other Extra Girls. You did amazing looks on her, she started off as a Brashaw, then turned into a York, and then went Jones with a hint of Hobbs! I would say that the hair colour is like a Burgundy/plum?! I rerooted a 90's Barbie with a similar colour and love it! Thank you Arjen for another great video.
It would be cool to see you playing with fashion and dolls you already own more often! Like maybe now would be great time to make an autumn "catwalk" and in winter a winter themed one etc.
Barbie Extra #17 is strikingly beautiful with her gorgeous dark red/purple/violet/auburn extra long hair. I loved all three outfits and my favorite one is the 3rd one. Always much enjoy watching your fun and cheerful videos Orien. Sending you much love from California.💛👠💄👗👄
Magenta/Burgundy hair looks so good with pastels so she's perfect
I wasn't super interested in this doll at first but now I'm loving that super long ponytail.

I just bought her, the hair is the reason I wanted her, totally hair and jewel hair mermaid come to mind when I see this doll.
Speaking of totally hair Barbie, there is supposed to be five new ones coming out in April and they come with a second outfit and shoes.
I really hope I won’t be disappointed this time around, like I was with the 2022 version.

The new Extra dolls would probably look different because I heard the main designer doesn't work on them anymore. Hopefully they start wearing more cohesive outfits and get rid of the pets and add more detail to the doll. This one is one of the better ones love the hair color. The best one is the Extra Fancy with the pink dress.

Mandy looks terrific! Something you said was extremely prescient. When you described her as a fashionista I realized the real fashionistas are Barbie Extra. The current wave of fashionistas have such poor quality and ugly clothing I only get them for the heads. I hardly ever use those pieces. The latest wave of Barbie Extra…that is a different story.
Just bought her and when I tell you guys she is so beautiful hair long and soft to love her she kinda looks like me to 🥰

She is so cute! I loved all three looks! You do such a great job making the dolls over. I haven't gotten than most recent 3 extra dolls because, well, Monster High showed up in stores in my area at the same time and I am completely obsessed with them. But I definitely want the Extra dolls. They are my favorite Barbie line out right now! Thanks again and love ya hon! ❤

For me the Barbie #17 showcases an affordable, high-end stunning look. It is a pity her bad screening even if you get choosing her directly in store at Toys r us, which was my case. Great makeovers, Arjan. My favourite is the last one.

Barbie Extra #17 is too cute. You always do a great job on the restyle.
I love this doll. I had to redo her braids because one was totally undone and messed up near the top from the packaging. I totally adore that pink and mint outfit - super pretty. Oh, and I think the dog looks like some type of spaniel. It is one of the cutest pets in this line.

This doll is really cute! Her hair looks like a burgundy color to me, and I love how you styled it. Very simple, but it looks really nice. My favorite outfit was the Tea party one, the Mimi fashion doll. I really want to find those outfits now but they're probably a few years old, right? Now I'm debating whether I want to pick her up 😆 I only ever picked up number one LOL

Hi Arjen! I saw this doll in store and passed on her because of pixel face. Holding out for her to go on sale. Love her burgundy hair and appreciate that you took the braids out! Love the long straight hair 😱😊💜 Love the schoolgirl look! Was giving me Blair from gossip girl vibes! 😊 Also the pastel vest look. I love Barbie but have recently started collecting the new Monster High dolls 😊 Love that they now have bright colors. The live action movie and soundtrack drew me in and the G3 dolls won me over. Would love to see what you can do with Lagoona! She is all pastel but I don’t like her hairstyle. Do you like the new MH dolls?

Entire time i was waiting for this video. I've bought doll after this video and now im updating my comment xd She is GORGEOUS! My doll had no face pixelation problem. BUT her body... Just so bad. Her left arm is so weird from joint and also her legs lil bir loosen. I opened her hair and downed... It was big mistake xD Coz Idk how to handle that much long hair! omg xD So heavy head. I'm not regret about doll bcs ill rebody her. I suggest everyone to have that doll bcs of beautiful face and super long hair :3 I rly liked how did u make over on her. Thanks alot for this video 💖

Hmmm is dishwashing soap isn’t doing the trick, then you can try putting it in a mixture of OXI clean and leave it for two days.

I know I'm late and hope you read this ....I'm in uk so finding the right made to move bodies is a struggle 😫....I can't find the made to move you used ....but I did find the bmr 1959 doll body you also recommended...only one I could find unfortunately...I was wondering do the barbie extra hands fit onto the bmr dolls?
