💯 that is basic body language. If a person crosses legs away from you it means you’re too close. And if arms are crossed like the other band members it means they are upset. I was angry at that interviewer while watching that clip.

I couldn't help but notice them in and how he adjusted his sitting stance when the guy kept getting closer that is a sign that you are too close. And I'm pretty sure he has some issues with stuff like that in the past which dont need to be said, but silently understood.

OMG, he scoots into Jimin's personal space. Jimin was not smiling, it was more like a look of panic and a disbelief that this guy came that close to him and he had no where to go. It embarrassed him. Jimin's body language says it all. He turned his leg away from him which is a clear sign of rejection. He also used his arms to block that guy from having any other type of access to the front portion of his body, as if to shield himself from possibly getting hugged by him AND THEN Jimin takes his hands (one on top of the other) and puts them on his knees to further close off and protect his private area. Besides all of that, he didn't appreciate that guy putting his hand near the back of his neck and shoulder area. Jungkook looked pissed. None of them looked overly happy with this guy. Get the hell away from Jimin. That man was so unprofessional 😠

You can actually see Namjoon's smile fade a little as he's talking... I'm sure he would have traded places with Jimin if he could have. Jin's face gave me a "How dare you?" vibe... Jungkook's face was like "Um, excuse me..."... And Taehyung's face clearly stated "Back off, man.". (The brief glimpse we got of Hobi showed him without his signature smile.) I also want to point out that Taehyung looked like he wanted to punch that guy for making Jimin so uncomfortable.
As much as we like to talk about the Jimin Effect, things like this are unacceptable. Anyone would be uncomfortable being that close to a stranger, especially one that you do not have any prior acquaintance with. This was unprofessional, you always give the person you are interviewing/talking to/etc their personal space. This makes them more comfortable, and more open to talking to you. The way the guys sit crunched together close doesn't mean that just anyone can get that close, and this interviewer should've known that. Everyone knows that! Business or not, you NEVER get into someone's bubble. I hate when I see interviewers do things like this. I used to interview bands for a living and I would never do this, and anyone I worked with wouldn't either. Common courtesy rules apply in all situations, business or not.
