You have all been so incredibly gracious: and over 300 subscribers! We like to believe that we’ve done something that adds even just a bit of happiness to your life. We cannot overstate how inspired we are to be doing this channel for you. We deeply appreciate your gracious support for this little place in a wide world of things. It’s not just the support for this channel it is also the kindness you give by bringing this work into your life. Just thank you so very much. We are so deeply honored and incredibly thankful. As always, all the very best to you and yours!
I’m enjoying the narration. It’s at a fluid clear pace. The breath between Austen’s long sentences is needed to think about the meaning and readjustment that brings. I love the reading of S&S and MP. Thank you for your work.
What an incredible honor! In almost one year, this channel reached the first 100 subscribers. We recently crossed 200 subscribers in less than three weeks since the first 100. Your gracious support is what continues to inspire us. Everything you are doing to support the channel is so very generous and impactfully moving. Again, every like, every subscription (and notification bell :) ), every comment, every mention, and every moment with us is tremendously meaningful. We are altogether grateful for your inviting us into your place. We hope to continue to earn such a distinguished place in your life. So, thank you and always, all the very best to you and yours!
Ms Austen's narative voice shows her that been a very keen observer of the people and times in which she lived, plus i liked that she did not use tools like Grammerly just pen on paper, simplicity! hooray!!!
We are delighted you enjoy it so! It is inspiring and encouraging for us for our part! Jane Austen certainly created incredible works. Thank you for sharing and being with us.
This is certainly one of Jane Austen's great works. I really enjoy listening to this audiobook on a daily basis. Simply brilliant! Thank you for sharing this wonderful novel to the whole world. ❤❤❤
Ms Savage is my favorite Austen narrator, the pace is perfect for me - any slower and Austen's wonderfully constructed sentences would lose all their wit!
It really helps if you listen to the text of the play, "Lover's Vows" that plays a big part in the plot. You can hear the story and get to know the characters that each are playing. It adds extra depth to our understanding, as the original readers of the novel would have known and understood these details. There are various uploads of the same librivox recording
We noticed we crossed 100 subscribers! We are entirely grateful to see just how well the content is received. Every like, every subscription (and notification bell :) ), every comment, every mention, and every moment with us is tremendously meaningful. We are altogether grateful for your inviting us into your place. It is all quite rewarding and encouraging for us. So here’s to you for your gracious support! All the best to you and yours!
7:46:00 I don’t dislike Fanny, but her strong feelings towards Miss Crawford seem completely unjustified for me. Mary has been gentle and kind to her, treating her as a friend and always speaking her mind, never deceiving anybody as to what her intentions and understandings are. Fanny is indeed unjustified in her opinion of Mary and that is only because she is in love with Edmund. I honestly hope Mary does not marry Edmund because is way too boring and she deserves someone who appreciates her entirely and will share her happiness in the world.
I’m afraid I can’t agree. Mary Crawford is a vain and selfish woman who doesn’t deserve the attention of Edmund. Thank goodness he sees the truth of her.
Mary has the intelligence to separate Fanny from Edmund. Whether Edmund is worthy of either (very different) women is up for discussion. I like projecting Lucy Steele into Mary but with education, money and an intelligent sibling. She has no need for an equal fortune in a husband.
I find that Ms. Austin does not keep track of the ages of her characters very well. In the beginning she writes that Edmund and his brother are 16 and 17, but in chapter 23 Mr. Crawford mentions that he will have seven hundred a year by the time he is four or five and twenty. Since Fanny is 18 that would make Edmund 24 right then.
I am very fond of Mansfield Park and Fanny. But what on earth ailed her ? If she had nnot been adopted, she might not have survived in her parental home
Thank you for sharing. You might be able to enjoy it at 0.75 the speed. It still seems somewhat natural sounding to us. We are glad you checked us out! All the best to you and yours
@@StoryClassics it's probably that either English isn't their first language, or they aren't used to the dense prose of this sort. Modern books aren't written this way. I wouldn't take it personally. Your reading is perfection. Signed a former professor and public speaker.

As always another great book, much appreciated for uploading this great culture which is lost now in the modern day era.

I am loving this book! It may be my favorite of Jane so far
We are delighted you enjoy it so! It is inspiring and encouraging for us for our part! Jane Austen certainly created incredible works. Thank you for sharing and being with us.
The more you read any of Austen's six novels, the more you get from them and Mansfield Park is no exception ❤️

7:47:26 Fanny, my girl, you are a tad obsessed with Edmund. Broaden your horizons

To be fair, Mary was much kinder to Fanny than either of the Bertram girls and the vile Aunt

Yes. Fanny and Edmund are 6 y apart and Edmund was 23 at time of Henry's comment
Fanny is my favorite character of all time 💯

I get her.
....thinking more of her pug than her children...... LOL!!!!! (sorry, pug owner here, no children) LOL!!!!
2:38:00 run for the hills, Miss Crawford

A much slower dialogue would have been more thoroughly enjoyed
Thank you for sharing your thoughts about this. We are grateful you stopped by.
You can click the settings button and slow the speed down. I find that .85 works well for a bedtime story.
Great stories, I just wish the narrator didn’t sound so rushed.
Is it going to be just these 9 books and nothing new?
We are intending to bring more titles.
Great story but read to fast for me

I think it's perfect. But for any video on RUclips hit the settings button and you can slow down or speed up any video to your preference.
