for anyone who needs a summary;)
Igneous rocks are classified in two categories: Extrusive rocks and Intrusive rocks. Extrusive rocks come from the solidification and cooling of lava, and Intrusive rocks come from the cooling and solidification of magma. Extrusive ex: Pumice and Obsidian; Intrusive ex: Granite and Diorite. Igneous Rocks are also called “Primary Rocks”

1:15 When this red/orange substance is below the Earth's crust, it's called magma. Above the surface/crest, it becomes "lava".
3:01 Purple Obsidian does not exist, but it is mainly black, sometimes green.

Earth's core is made up of molten rock called magma . Magma flows out from the earths interior to the surface where a volcano erupts (know as lava) and later cools and solidifies to form igneous rocks . Almost 95 percent of the earth is made up of igneous rocks. Three types of igneous rocks: Granite , obsidian and pumice
