Seeing the birds reminded me of John Oliver getting involved in New Zealand's bird of the century voting. He wanted everyone to vote for the puteketeke and it won. He had advertising campaigns worldwide. It was hilarious. That magpie was a jerk though. Seems more aggressive than the magpies in Canada. Now I want a croissant.
My cat was snuggled in my arms while I was watching this video, and as soon as that magpie started chirping, she jumped out of my arms and went right for my phone!
10 bucks for a piece of dough that can be demolished in two bites is peak highway robbery. You can get an entire bag from the supermarket for like half of that price, albeit not fresh out of the oven, obviously. I think the antidote to your inability to perform a #2 could've been solved by asking the baker to add a pinch of laxatives into one of the croissants...a friendly alternative to cow juice for the lactose intolerant.
