Hi Chua, thanks for this great introduction. I have a doubt about the shipping options. Basically I have clients from different countries and I'd like to match the shipping destination wit the options in AliExpress and also provide the rates. Seems this isn't possible with the plugin, or maybe I didn't understand how to do it. I would like simply to avoid that a client for example from Switzerland cannot receive the items because the dropshipper doesn't ship there or maybe there is a very high delivery fee that will be billed to my credit card. Should I create shipping information by myself for each country I want to ship to (that is quite hard to achieve because the many different dropshippers hence options) or there is a more smart way to achieve this?
You have to contact support to help you reset your license key so you can use it on another website, I did same and it was very easy contacting support.

Hogan I'm having a Wordpress woocomerce site built. I had him install AlidropshipWoo plugins. Do you have to have the website completed before you can use the AlidropShipWoo software? I notice I could not edit.
No, it doesn't have to be completed to be able to edit. Id recommend 3 things: 1. Try using another browser i.e Chrome 2. Clear your history, cache and cookies, retest the builder 3. Disable/deactivate all your other plug-ins, retest. Cheers, Hogan

No need to contact them beforehand - Normally when you a processing it "placing it automatically" using the alidropship plugin - it will include a note to the supplier to let them know it's a dropshipping order and not to include the invoice or any marketing materials.

It depends, they have standard which takes 21-24 days and then e packet and express shipping but shipping cost varies. You can check it with each supplier.
Im using Self Hosted Version at WordPress.org. This means you get the real version, with all functionalities. (not the one hosted at wordpress.com) - And for hosting I use Hostgator.com - let me know if you have any other questions.

Un-optimized images are images being to large in size. Try to keep the file size of hero images to around 80kb. This will have a huge impact on site speed. http requests are related to combining css and java scripts. You can try using a plugin like 'W3 Total Cache'. I will warn you that changes made with a caching plugin can cause issues to your site so make sure to set it up properly. In many cases the minify function, which combines the css and scripts, will have a negative impact on your site. The easiest thing is to optimize your images. I got my gtmetrix score to both 'A' but it definitely took some time messing with different elements in w3 total cache. Google pagespeed insights weigh very highly on the minify functions.

the tracking number will take a few days (after shipment from supplier) and it (alidropship) should sync automatically to the order and you can forward those details to your customer via email

I use Stripe and Paypal Gateways. You can find plugins that add additional payment gateways with WooCommerce. Or you can use the standalone alidropship plugin and you have multiple by default. like razorpay etc.

@@joshualepon5676 no, the main reason that would happen is long shipping times and customers asking for refunds. So therefore to prevent that you'd need to 1st to be upfront about it to customer 2nd reassure them 3rd choose countries and suppliers which have shorter shipping times. Some have warehouse in USA etc. Or ignore USA for now since its long shipping. and try other countries or ask supplier. There is always gonna be problems with any business. The key is always to find a solution as you go. Thats just entrepreneurship :)

Aside from the cost of paying your domain, hosting and the plug-ins, do you still need to pay to AliExpress when your customers purchase or order? So once they order from your online store, does the plug in forwards their order to Ali, right? Does the payment gets forwarded to them too? Or will it be charged to your (seller) account first? Then you pay them upfront. Then you wait for Paypal to give you the customer payment?

You will have to order from Aliexpress using your card but if you have paypal options, the money should be available on your account right away once the customer buys.

If you require the ioncube loader, you need to ask your hosting provider to turn it on for you. Then you will be good to go.

Alidropship is a plugin that works between wordpress and aliexpress. So no I dont you can import from ebay/amazon or use it connect. Hope that helps.

After adding the products into your store you have to place an order through aliexpress. do we have to talk with supplier about anything regarding the product or its just the whole process doesn't deal with any interaction with supplier ? - kinda new to dropshipping appreciate your content @hogan chua
No need to contact them beforehand - Normally when you a processing it "placing it automatically" using the alidropship plugin - it will include a note to the supplier to let them know it's a dropshipping order and not to include the invoice or any marketing materials.

You will have to manually order it and add in the customer information.

It depends, they have standard which takes 21-24 days and then e packet and express shipping but shipping cost varies. You can check it with each supplier.

Hey Hogan, how does one optimize a wordpress site? Mines running really slow for some reason, any tips as to why this is?
Un-optimized images are images being to large in size. Try to keep the file size of hero images to around 80kb. This will have a huge impact on site speed. http requests are related to combining css and java scripts. You can try using a plugin like 'W3 Total Cache'. I will warn you that changes made with a caching plugin can cause issues to your site so make sure to set it up properly. In many cases the minify function, which combines the css and scripts, will have a negative impact on your site. The easiest thing is to optimize your images. I got my gtmetrix score to both 'A' but it definitely took some time messing with different elements in w3 total cache. Google pagespeed insights weigh very highly on the minify functions.

the tracking number will take a few days (after shipment from supplier) and it (alidropship) should sync automatically to the order and you can forward those details to your customer via email

I use Stripe and Paypal Gateways. You can find plugins that add additional payment gateways with WooCommerce. Or you can use the standalone alidropship plugin and you have multiple by default. like razorpay etc.

@@joshualepon5676 no, the main reason that would happen is long shipping times and customers asking for refunds. So therefore to prevent that you'd need to 1st to be upfront about it to customer 2nd reassure them 3rd choose countries and suppliers which have shorter shipping times. Some have warehouse in USA etc. Or ignore USA for now since its long shipping. and try other countries or ask supplier. There is always gonna be problems with any business. The key is always to find a solution as you go. Thats just entrepreneurship :)

Hi Hogan, sorry for the stupid question. Just a bit confused. Aside from the cost of paying your domain, hosting and the plug-ins, do you still need to pay to AliExpress when your customers purchase or order? So once they order from your online store, does the plug in forwards their order to Ali, right? Does the payment gets forwarded to them too? Or will it be charged to your (seller) account first? Then you pay them upfront. Then you wait for Paypal to give you the customer payment?

You will have to order from Aliexpress using your card but if you have paypal options, the money should be available on your account right away once the customer buys.

You can upload an additional image in the gallery of each product or description for the conversion of measurements.

With this plugin no, its specifically for aliexpress. Amazon, there should be a plugin for that. I have yet to try it though.
