Didn't realise how good this bloke actually was. He signed with the kangaroos in 1979 just for the one season and apparently dominated. Great Ron barassi is quoted saying he was an absolute star.

One of the best footballers south Australia ever produced, although he should have played for the mighty bloods seeing as he was from the Riverland

The most overrated player to ever play the game. Found out in the VFL, where he struggled for a kick, and was dropped more than once.
Well he was 30 at the time and used to fly in from Adelaide for the games. He played every game that yr 25.
Third in North Melbournes Brownlow votes for that year. Travelled back and forth each week and played 25 games in VFL.
