I watched this film in my film class, focusing on international cinema. I, along with the whole of my class, was surprised with how good this movie was. I loved it so much, in fact, I want to buy it.
The song is "La Chanson d'Azur et Asmar" by Souad Massi. The images are from the film "Azur et Asmar" by Michel Ocelot. It was released in Japan as "Azûru to Asumâru" by Studio Ghibli.

J'adore le film, sa fait un mélange de deux religions, c'est très bien!! La musique du générique est superbe, un mélange d'arabe et de français, c'est fabuleux !!!

Belle chanson, je tiens à préciser que c'est le grand Rabah Khalfa qui joue la derbouka et qui fait les coeurs.
Je la préfère 1000x à la version française.
