I know John Barry wrote the music to the "original piece", but I was referring to this different version in the video; someone rearranged the music. By the way, Leslie Bricusse and Anthony Newley wrote the lyrics however, the song was owned by "United Artists" at the time. The title of the film: "You Only Live Twice" do not belong to Anthony Newley either.

Possibly the most beautiful composition ever dreamed up....that slight hint of the Far East sound...of lazy, hazy days and elongated euphoria. . .
I know! It's so evocative. Really amazing composition. It's amazing how a piece of music can so perfectly encapsulate a feeling.
Even though its a theme song of a movie, as a stand alone piece of music it's very "haunting" and a piece of music that will store memories for you.. ❤️

I consider myself to be so lucky to have the music of the 60's as the soundtrack of my childhood... It fired my imagination to heights beyond belief!... And had given me a rich backlog of sounds and talent I can still enjoy in my later years as I'm transported back to my childhood

This is possibly the greatest instrumental version, orchestral arrangement of a motion picture theme I have ever heard. It is simply flawless! Magnificent! Better than the original (nothing against you Nancy Sinatra), but this was simply THE BEST!!! Bravo!

This is something that I would pull my lover close to me, and we would just let the world melt away, and we would be back in high school. Fantastic and awesome song. This orchestra is full over the brim with excellent musicians. It feels just like watching the movie and James Bond is right there. Lol.
