All in on Sevendust with the shirt and guitar! Fun story, I sold my SE Clint Lowrey to a guy a year ago who had toured with and opened for Sevendust a number of years ago. He had a lot of admiration and respect for them as people and musicians. Was the most enjoyable gear sale ever.
Sevendust has one of the best fanbases out there. Nothing but good vibes and down to earth people much like the band themselves. I'm sure he was extra grateful to be picking up the CL SE finally, they're getting tough to find out there in the wild. I could never sell mine.
@@MysticGuitar77 It was a hard one to part with for many reasons. But the wide fat neck and lack of maple cap wound up not being the best fits for me. But it was the only signature model that I ever really wanted to buy due to association with the actual artist, and I would have kept it for sentimental value if I could have. If PRS would have done the right thing and released a Pete Loeffler signature, that would have been the king of the hill for me. BTW I absolutely love your channel. You cover so so much of the stuff I have been into forever and have been wanting to get around to covering myself. And I just wish it would not have take me so long to finally come across your stuff. Hope you are able to keep up the great work. However, the amount of new material in your/our main genre preferences is getting quite limited, and you have covered some much of all of the older stuff, it must be getting tougher to come up with something new to do. Hopefully we actually get the new Chevelle album that had been expected this year.
@@Tiger1016. Yeah, it's getting pretty slim with the newer stuff lately besides these past couple months where there were tons of new releases all in a row. The rest of the year is looking pretty dead though. I don't know what Chevelle is sitting on their album for when everybody else is dropping their albums despite the pandemic. If they're waiting for the all clear to tour, they're going to be waiting for awhile still. All the tours are being postponed to next summer at the earliest.
@@MysticGuitar77 I agree on the delayed tour bit. My guess is they might have decided to go back and re-record the bass tracks since this was going to be Dean's last album and he was not going to tour with the band any more. The circumstances this year could have pushed them to say what the heck is the point in rushing, let's take the time to do this how we want since we have the time. It was mentioned this might be done, so the delay kind of implies that might be what is happening. At least it is not a Tool like delay. And I doubt it will turn into a People in Planes deal where a new album is expected but gets tabled again and again. That was a fun, off the beaten path band if you have never heard of them before. Alt rock, not alt metal though.
holy shit man that was amazing. I think this song has some of the best guitar work on the entire album. That one riff, in particular, is so badass! it starts at the 3:23 mark. I need that in tab so bad haha I'm trying to watch you play it but it's hard for me to follow it well enough. I'm nothing more than a Novice compared to you dude lol

Great cover may i ask u how did u become so good? I still face problems with alternative picking also i dont known what i should do to improve on my playing im doing lessons but they dont help me i want to play mostly metal and hard rock
It all boils down to practicing especially in the beginning. I don't know how long you've been playing but it took me a good 2 years before I was totally comfortable playing guitar. I never took any lessons, I just figured things out as I went along so you have the advantage there. I never liked sitting down and actually practicing scales and whatnot, that's boring, I just wanted to learn songs so that's what I did. I hopped online and found tabs for Metallica and Disturbed and bands like that and just started learning songs. Couldn't play them any good at all and really struggled but it was fun just to be trying and getting better each time you play them. A good thing to do is play along to a metronome. Start at a BPM that you can easily play at and just strum one note with alternate picking and just focus on your picking hand and getting the note to ring out consistently and cleanly. Then try different notes and going through scales doing the same thing. Once you feel comfortable at that speed, up the BPM a little more and go again. That was something I did a lot in the beginning. Extremely boring but it really does help with muscle memory and technique.
@@MysticGuitar77 yeah thats my problem most of the time im too bored at learning scales also i feel that they dont help me out i cant play any disturbed song at all due to harmonics and i tried to play for whom the bell tolls by metallics im now a one year player and i can play 5 songs u helped me out in three of them Which were let you down beg dead and done now i want to learn let it go by seether but i dont have any tabs

Well done. Want to do this song next but seems no one has tabbed anything from this album yet. I'm too new to guitar to improvise

Hi yes I’m gonna need you to do that again but slower 😂 jk but I’m definitely gonna learn this one
Anyone else able to learn songs just by watching someone play it? I can’t do tabs or sheet I have to watch it played
