MTV's Making the Video featuring "Elevation" by U2

I couldn't find this anywhere else on RUclips, so here it is. This is a great piece of history for a U2 fan from the summer of 2001, with some fun interviews along the way. This was not just a new U2 video but a promotional video for the Tomb Raider movie as well.

I know I saw this back in the day but it was super fun to revisit. Recently I was explaining to a friend why I adore U2 and ended up playing the Elevation music video bc it is hilarious. My friend's reaction was "ohhh I get it, they are just a bunch of dorks" yup, exactly, an endearing bunch of dorks who are never not making fun of themselves.

before this Video, I never relised ther were an Bad U2 and the Final act was Bad and Good U2 against each other ;-)I would also wished we could see the first reaction of U2, when they saw the Musicvideo the very first time, but reaction videos are from this time, not from the past ;-)

Nothing in this video was clear and it’s incredible the amount of money spent on a simple concept they failed to communicate clearly
