I tried these due to comments on your channel. I liked them so much I bought more, so now both my DACs have 3…. They beat out every burr brown, Muses 01 and 02, Sparkos… every opamp I have…. They are my new favorite. They have not done anything wrong yet and sound great. Thanks for the tip on these.

I have been using these Akliam LC5s for 3 months with my Aiyima a07 max monoblocks on socket extenders without the amplifiers cases, they sound excellent! I was very disappointed with the Burson V7 Classics which sounded too warm lackingvdetails and subtility making human voices unnatural, restraining the soundstage between the speakers and costing 10x more
Why didn't you like the Burson V7 Classic? this is a very good op amp. It sounds very melodic and emotional What is the difference in sound between Akliam and Burson?
@@LimePieMusic I have a pair of V5. These are not very airy and detailed. Most of the ICs beats them. I've jumped on Massdrop bandwagon a few years ago and got them in nice boxes :)
I replaced two opa1612 with two LC5 in my class d amp from Purify. My first op-amp rolling and very impressed with the difference. I you combine the changes and the costs it is my best upgrade so far. Will most likely be more op-amp rolling. :)
@@TC-bz8sm yes they do, you can experiment with both I/V and LPF sets (that would be four together). For me the best set is to have precise OPA828 for I/V and then class A discretes in LPF for that smooth analog flavor:)

I have tried the LC2 on Aiyima A07 and Fosi ZA3. It didn’t work. LHY Class A dual OpAmps did work in both amps. I am using the LHY dual OpAmps in my ZA3 mono blocks but have to leave the case open because they are too tall and won’t fit inside with the case of the amps closed.

Hi. Great video as always. I have been looking at this amp for some time now. I'm not sure whether you are aware that Audiophonics rebadge this amp (more expensive though) and dell as there own. Can the E600 be used as a preamp via the XLR outs as I'd like to use it with my V3 monos? BRZHIFI also sell a cheap class A preamp SE only with or without Bluetooth. Do you or any of your subscribers have any experience with it? It is extremely cheap so I may give it a go unless the E600 can be used as a preamp. Some of the clones you review look awesome and i guess the only thing putting me off is QC and returning items if they are faulty. Is the BRZHIFI store a reliable place to buy from or do you have another favourite? Keep up the great work.
Hi! Thanks! Thats a few things to adress :) Yes I've seen this is rebadged and Audiophonics sells these too (with a bit higher price). XLR outouts cannot be used as preamp as these have only + and - lines connected (no gnd for balanced headphones) - though the connectors are standard 3 pin xlr, it will not work. I got some things from BrzHIFI store too and my experience was fine, I have a set of few stores I usually use as Ive checked them as reliable. And since they differ in prices, Im getting the cheapest of the group :)
@@k4syxHi. Thanks for reply. It's a shame the XLRs cant be used to connect to my V3 monos. I currently am using the 4.4 pentacon out on my Xduoo MT604 to feed the V3 monos and it sounds great. For single ended use i think I will buy a BRZHIFI L1 as a Class A preamp and then I can swap op amps for an Aklian discrete opamp if they will fit. As the L1 is single ended i presume that i will need 2 single opamps, would they be the LC6 rather than the LC5 which is a duel opamp? Keep up the great work. I can't wait for an opamp shoot out. Have you ever thought about affiliate links to your favourite clone sellers as they must be selling lots of these amps due to your great reviews? It may help pay for more amps to test!!
@@aurallychallenged you need to check what kind of opamp is there as stock one and then get matching single or dual of your choice. I've tried affiliate program and it doesn't really work for me, as cookies are valid for 3days only, and everyone (me included) thinks about such a purchase longer (which is reasonable thing to do). I have trie Burson V6 duals in my E600 BrzHifi amplifier with Focal Elegia and did not like the sound :/ it was too bright and lacking bass a lot with E600. I hope these LC5 will be different.
These are very clear, if you find the amp bright, these will not help. Whats your source? In other comment you've written that E600 lacks transparency and air for you?
@k4syx my source is XD05PRO line out to rca E600 line in. I like the overall sound presentation that I get with E600 amp, but when I play more complex tracks like some electronic music I hear that the bass is a little weak and high frequencies are a bit muddy, lacks some clarity and separation. This was with stock opamps 5532 and with opa1612, 1656, muses 8920. I'm considering to buy now a pair of Akliam LC5 opamps that you reviewed and now just saw your new video about Burson V7 opamps. So I would like to ask which opamp would you roccomend to buy for E600 to get the best sound quality 🤔😁👍🏻
@@bendzy169 my best choices would be Staccato for warmer sound (but these are expensive) and then Bursons and LC5. You can also try OPA627 as they are affordable now (in DIP8 adapters) and they seem to my ears somewhat v-shaped (though freq characteristic is flat ;D )
@@AndNaz4820 I've paid 20usd per one, so it was like forty for 2 pieces. It's more or less the same now (I've checked). Paying in euro is usually more expensive because of some strange exchange ratio so I usually use my USD card
@@k4syx not sure. I'm new to this. All I know is that I rolled op amps in my class d amp and I replaced one 6 pin for another (4 pins on one side, 2 on the other side)
@@EricRhodeslives No that has to be something different, DIP8 operational amplifiers have always symmetrical 8 pin build with two rows of pins, four pins in each row. Take a look at my video explaining how to replace opamps there is selection of them showing connector pins
