    You can indeed daily a RWD in the snow. You just have to be totally on it the entire time. Remember for a long, long time all people had was RWD with worse tires and no TCS and they managed.

    yes. I used my FRS in a Jersey winter and didn’t have a single issue once I switched to snow tires

    When I was in Montana, my 370Z didn’t do too great. I had all season tires so that might’ve been the problem but they aren’t too good at plowing and they don’t salt roads, so snow was always on the road. Barely took off from a stop and stopped horribly. Could not do hills at all

    FACT OF THE DAY:
    Did you know that some US Navy submarines are equipped with XBOX 360 controllers and are used to control external cameras. The are cheap and sailors already know how to use them.

    I’m sorry but just because there’s snow on the ground doesn’t mean you’re driving in the snow. Idk which state you’re in but in Washington it absolutely dumps snow to the point you can’t even see the pavement anymore and at that post you definitely shouldn’t be driving a rwd. In your conditions yeah why not use rwd, but in actual snow no way.

    • @markroden
      @markroden  2 года назад +1

      Well if you payed attention to the video you would notice I said “it was much worse this morning” I know this video doesn’t show “driving in the snow” very well, but I drove it earlier (8 am to be exact) and at that point, like you said, you couldn’t even see the road. And it was more than possible to drive.

    I daily drive a 6 speed g37s coupe in NE Ohio. It can be done to an extent. The 1st year it was on summer tires. That made for some serious pucker moments. All seasons were slightly more manageable, but they hit their limits if there is more than 4 inches. We'll see how snow tires do this year.

      @@markroden I daily drove my mustang here in Canada last year and even added weight in the back, it really is impossible to predict. There might be a little bit of snow and it would slide, a lot of snow and it won't... You just have to be a lot cautious. Decided to get myself a prelude as a winter driver and currently restoring it!
