    Hi
    Is it possible to save whole midi( set up in DAW) pattern sent to tb3 from a DAW under PTN SELECT menu BUTTON and there under selected pattern button?
    Will be grateful for info how to do it.
    It would help make great melodies, bass lines much faster and easier and save them in tb3 than doing it via tb3's screen....
    It would be a great function in tb3 with such a option...

    The Roland TB3 is underrated, change my mind.

      Yeah this is a fun machine for sure! I only wish it could play more than one pattern at a time, but I guess that's why some people have two of them :D

      Get a real TB-303 and you’ll change your own mind lol. I have both, and the TB3 sounds like a shitty gremlin 🤣

    learn to input some basslines...sounds truly awful

    • @conductorelectronic
      @conductorelectronic  6 лет назад +4

      Ok, so when you say "learn to input some basslines", there is nothing to "learn". It would be as simple as selecting a different keyboard. Also, this video is for the purpose of showing HOW to record patterns, it is not a showcase of a pattern that I have spent lots of time building - in fact the opposite is true, as I made a simple pattern quickly for the purposes of demonstrating how you can do it yourself.

      @@conductorelectronic well. How about you record a bassline bass is like 2 or maybe 3 octaves lower than what you recorded you recorded a high lead line Roland made it a bass machine TB transistor bass

    • @cresshead
      @cresshead 6 лет назад +2

      I just found it very hard to listen to as it wasn't a bassline number one and number two it was very unmusical for example if it was a drum machine it didn't sound like a drum pattern as in this didn't sound like a good Bassline at all I know you demonstrating recording patterns but it just makes it really hard work I'm trying to offer some insight to keep if you are interested in watching your videos in future videos

      i'd agree that i lack 'tact' in my reply...just trying to offer ideas to make better more engaging vids.

      @@cresshead Ok. I've got more of these videos coming, but they're all recorded already at this point, and I think I used a lot of synth sounds versus bass sounds. I too think it's a bit strange that this is promoted as a bass sequencer when only about a quarter of the sounds are bass sounds. There's a lot of synth and effect sounds that are not bassy at all. But I like some of those sounds too. I guess you can use this machine to create any melodic sequences you want, that may or may not be bassy or low end.
