I was one of the few old fucks there last night. I've been to hundreds of shows in my 50+ years, I never been in a more energetic, fucking crazy, so into the event with kids today that I thought didn't even listen anymore to rock. After several tragic deaths in rock the likes I didn't think rock could survive, it was an honor to attend this show with this band. I hope Green Day recognizes how special this show at Camden BBT was.
I have you beat. I'm 62 and just went to the show in Raleigh. I've been also to lots of shows and this is in the top 5. I'm not an "on my feet dancing" type but I sure was here. This band may not be sophisticated musically, but they put on one hell of a show and write some damn good songs. Love this band!!!
This show was outrageous! Un freaking believable! Great crowd ladies and gents! I usually hate this place for bands I love but the crowd was almost as good as greenday! Great night!!!!
woah. for any guitar nerds seeing this, billies tuned down half step here and playing a fret higher. never seen him do that before. generally its just the pre-nimrod stuff thats played half step down. i wonder whats up with that.
Pints of Guinness Good ear. Probably to make it easier to sing, his voice has to make it through through the entire show for every night of a long tour
+Anthony Sclafani No, he's playing half a step down but also playing a fret up. The key of the song does not change. My guess it has something to do with the extra solo thing he did here
It's probably because of the solo that he usually adds right before the bridge, but also for the strings to not snap mid-song since he strums so god damn hard on the poor things.

was a killer show
Anyone got a tab for that solo he played?
do you have billie joe's speech after tré came out in a tutu from this concert?
When was that? I dont remember this at all.
Jim Powers the speech billie was making about "partying fucking hard" and how we could all come together that night and "get fucked up together"
I think it was during Shout when Billie was laying on the stage.
The drunks in the mosh pit, jesus.
