As a person who predominantly plays blue/red in the early game and then pack up on green (almost completely ignoring yellow), I find that the Yellow/Green Union is my favourite command deck !
Wow amazing, I’ve learned so much of a lot of board games, this channel is awesome, I know Mr.Sam Healy and I’m impressed how he explains the game and the detail I love this channel so much!!!!
Thank you Sam! I've just started playing around with these and they are fun.. Some of them seem to really bump your power out of the gate. Any chance you'll have time to review the new challenge cards?
Am I the only one disappointed with the command decks? I was so hyped when I first heard that they bring out commanders similar to Hero Realms...until I realized that they linked every commander to 2 fractions basically telling you which cards you're going to buy from the trade row. With Hero Realms they did it right. This is not a 9/10.
Alex I see your point.. But I don't mind as it ties the narrative piece together and these are fast games in general... The notion of a "class" means some focusing your direction, so that doesn't bother me
Gimmicks worked. The whole of Star Realms likely has 5+ yrs more if they keep doing the formula. If anything, I'd expect Hero Realms to fall first. Being tied to 2 factions, but sharing cards feels a bit weak. However, it works and it also allows you to retain some tactical understanding when switching decks.
