This is exactly what I am looking for and surprising this video is only 1 day old.
My questions:
1. From where can we download the various versions of the software program? Will eM Client website have all versions (e.g. V9, V10..)
2. Also when setting up a new PC, I guess the program installation version has to be of the same version as the prior backup/database folder. Correct?
3. I trying to understand the restore steps. To set up a new PC or do a fresh install, one has to run the program (same version). Then not go through the Account set up process/ wizard but instead restore the backup from the previous live db folder or the backup file. Correct?
4. In your illustration when restoring eM Client from an existing backup to a new PC, eM Client did not ask for the backup file or location of the backup file. How did it know the location (it could have been anywhere - on C, My documents folder, flash drive etc)?
5. When is the License key needed or in what situation is it needed when doing the restore?
6. Can one set up eM Client using same email accounts (e.g. Gmail, Hotmail) afresh on new PC without going through restore?

You can search for the older version to download or hopefully you still have it saved from you original install.
You don't need the same version the backup restore will work fine you will just need to upgrade your license.
When you install the new version of em client go to the backup settings in the new install and point it to where your backup is (same method used when creating the backup) then it will find the backup zip and restore it. Or simply rename the new em client folder that was created and move over the one you copied from the old computer. Then rename it to em client.

Yes once you restore the backup or move over the folder everything will be just as it was with all your email accounts and calendar settings
