Whenever I'm not feeling like myself I ask myself, "have you eaten, have you slept, have you taken a shower, have you moved today?" and usually it's one of those that helps me feel better. I used to cringe at the word 'self care' too, but I think that was part of my eating disorder and me thinking that I always had to push myself. Now in recovery self care is vital for me, and especially my morning routine. If I don't do my morning routine, I feel all out of whack all day long. oh i remember the struggle x you've got this. being kind to yourself is the only rule you need to follow. keep putting the guilt aside and tell yourself you're doing everything right. it will go away x
