My uncle is an ordained minister, and presided over both of my cousins' weddings (his sister's kids, not his own), and in both cases, they were so nervous and worked up about the wedding that he kept inserting jokes into the Invocations and Declarations to calm them down. A few people thought it was in poor taste, but if you knew our family, particularly my grandfather, you'd know it wasn't a proper wedding without a few laughs at the bride and groom's expense. One cousin just celebrated 11 years back in December, and the other cousin (essentially my older brother) is due to hit 10 years next May.
