As others have also said...USE THE 'SKILL STOP' BUTTON to stop the top tray EACH AND EVERY TIME you get coins drop, so they have a chance to settle. That way, they won't keep going on top of others on the lower field. You could also use the 'SKILL STOP' button to get a larger spread of coins (more than 4), in order to get a larger drop, for a bigger push...!

They used to have these quarter games at my local country fair each year. I loved playing them as a kid. I think the age restriction was overlooked back then. I was always told they are rigged with small areas under those metal reflectors on the side, that allows coins to be pushed off the playing area, effectively deflecting some of the forward force. Not sure if that is actually true, but the location of the reflectors is curious
Brad H yes there is holes on each side that is how the casino makes its money the covers keep you from seeing the amazingly amount of money the casino makes , image a water hose with holes on the side letting more water out the side vs the end of the hose opening.

It is a hell note. It is a ceremonial note that is used as a religious token for passage to the underworld in Chinese cultures. I have a few in my collection. Similar idea to the river Styx from what I understand of it. Also there is no intrinsic value of it. It is just a nice little collectors piece.

The little mirrors on the left and right are holes where the coins fall instead of pushing the pile ahead and off the ledge. Thats why the prizes bunch up, its called physics.
