Yesterday, October 22, 2023, Heard Kang sing Rudolfo in the Toronto Opera Company production of La Boheme. Incredibly beautiful voice, wonderful voice production, totally thrilling performance, and now my most favourite lyric tenor. Star quality with a wonderful career ahead of him.

Thank god that guy on the right finally left. All he could do was throw his arms around and pull the focus. What's the noise in the background? Rain? Good GRIEF - Who stages this nonsense? It's about the music people!! Speaking of which, we need a more balanced orchestra here and better sound [mic] placement if you're going to record. Violins are crucifyingly loud in places. And it's basically all too light. MEANWHILE -- the reason we're all here -- a divine voice and would love to see him in person.
