I watched KS for about a year before he passed. I found his content needed and refreshing, even though I have been happily married for a long time. And I find his absence palpable on many days. He had a huge impact. Take care of yourselves, men.
@@BigBoy-nq3gb I am sorry to say it’s true. He died on May 5th, of an apparent heart attack. Thanks to him, every time my wife annoys me, I say, “This is what I’m talking about!” Or “You can’t make this shit up.” And then we both sigh.

KS was what we as men needed . My fragrance game has improved 1000% because of this man and you . We need you guys to keep going and keep us smelling good
Kevin was one of the first fragrance reviewers I watched. He helped me enter the fragrance game. It still seems unreal that he is no longer with us. Dior Homme Intense was the one he inspired me to purchase.

RIP Kevin, I got into his videos later into my fragrance journey, but I realize that he was a big name in the fragrance game.
I wish more people would gravitate towards the Kevin Samuels We Grew To Know & Loved. His taste in fragrance was special, he respected cheapies as much as that 4000$ OG bottle of Baccarat 540. He's the reason why I started a fragrance collection.
There are few male YT influencers who are essential for men & women, raised by weak or absent fathers, to learn from.
KS is one of the few unapologetically masculine, genuine men.
The world will miss KS's strong and elegant virility & wit.
I was in the Army for 21 years and was never really interested in fragrances until recently. One of my coworkers told me about the house of Creed, so I looked it up and found your channel. Now that I’m retired and not worried about getting deployed, I find this content extremely interesting.
I retired 21 years myself and found a new interest in colognes when I got out. I find these videos very helpful

Regardless of how Kevin became relevant to others, I will always see him as fragrance and frame reviewer. Love or hate him, you can't deny his impact & influence in this world. May he Rest In Peace. The two Harmonist fragrances are the most intriguing ones to me.

Kevin Samuels had a nose for great fragrances. The Harmonist Hypnotizing Fire 🔥, and Byredo Bal d’ Afrique were two out of many that I purchased blindly because of how he described them. This King 👑 will truly be missed. We still have you BBB, and you do a damn good job 👍🏾 yourself 🙏🏾.
Wow. Just wow. Kevin Samuels had great taste in fragrances. L’Homme Ideal Extreme is my signature scent and knowing that it comes highly recommended from KS himself makes it even more special for me. This list is off the beaten path but more importantly very very good and worth checking out. Excellent heartfelt homage BBB. RIP KS. I need to get my nose on the Dolce & Gabbana
L'homme Ideal is good. DG Pour Homme is solid. Thhe DG Light Blue/Light blue extreme is soapy. Not for me

Been following him for years, I was thinking same thing as for choice of fragrance as for giveaway. I have a Bond No. 9 collection because of him. He was one of the only people really promoting the house. The brother brought that class & style to the game. He will be missed. Salute 🫡
One cologne I enjoyed Kevin recommended was Le Labo Rose 31. Stuff was smooth.
Kevin definitely changed my views on certain things and exposed me to the fragrance world forsure . After his passing , I realized even more how you can’t take any of this stuff with you .
From a recommendation of KS, he said in one of his older videos I picked up Mont Blanc individual. Truly one of the best blind buys I’ve ever done.
I've been rocking with you since 2017/2018 and picked up on KS in late 2019. Both of you have kept my fragrance game 🎯 by taking some chances (ToyBoy for example) and I appreciate you and was very appreciative of KS (we need to canonize that man)
Oh I saw his video on the Cartier Pasha Parfum about a year ago and made me go buy it and it is truly phenomenal.

He had a great nose for the high quality, deep, rich like smells and I love it. I purchased Tobacolor with a couple others from the line right before Christmas and I gotta agree it is an enjoyable Tobacco fragrance. A more rich & flavorful profile of The One (which is the old lady’s favorite). The Velvet Amber Sun had my attention a couple months ago but would not pop up for purchase at reasonable price anywhere and looking now ironically it’s on the discounter.

Thank you for sharing this. Kevin definitely inspired me to be more mindful of my self care and appearance, including smelling great. Per his recommendation, I remembered to smell Oud Wood at Macys, my girlfriend was head over heels for it and promised to gift it to me for Christmas. It’s still my most prized fragrance after acquiring many more scents.

By way of background, KS is my fraternity brother but I do not know him and was completely unaware of his presence in the fragrance community & I was only peripherally aware of his presence in the “manosphere”. BUT when men like the Bow-tie Fragrance Guy (also a Nupe) and the Style OG paid homage to KS after his passing, I obsessed over learning more about Kevin and grew to truly appreciate his contributions. So, thank you for this great surrogate review and your very personal tribute!! B/t/w, I also learned through your video that Kevin and I share similar fragrance preferences. I’ve never heard of Ebene Fume BUT it appears to be spot on for me and is now on my “To Purchase” list (blind buy worthy!)! So, thank you again & keep up the great work!
KS was a real one! He convinced me to try acqua di gio Profumo. Still my favorite all around fragrance! Great video man!
Kevin Samuels was a big fan of Maison Francis Kurkjian brand. Kevin got me hooked on MFK and Tom Ford fragrances. The one MFK fragrance that Kevin hooked me on was MFK Lumiere Noire pour Homme. One of the most beautiful masculine rose fragrances. But it’s discontinued which I hate. But Oud Satin Mood, Oud Silk Mood, L’Homme A’La Rose, and Gentle fluidity Silver are all my favorites and simply picked by Kevin Samuels himself.
Shot out to BBB and KS. Idk why I never heard Kevin Samuels mention your name in his videos until his passing. He called you, him and Boe Tie "The 3 Kings". I agree. Keep giving The Godfather his flowers.

KS is the guy who put me on the path with my fragrance collection. After the loss of my wife in 2019, I found myself searching for ...well searching for Myself or what would be this new iteration of me. Much respect to him and you BBB and the influence you have. I've heard of a clone of Ebon Fume and Seriously thinking of giving it a go.
