Nice job! This is my Daughter Micah's favorite cake. I am so tickled that you gave it a try and that you enjoyed it! FYI, I made my sheet cake in a standard sheet pan, the same size as the one you put your jelly roll pan inside of to glaze. It renders a thinner cake, but combined with the glaze it has a great texture! I have made this with all natural peanut butter as well as commercial and they are both delicious. Anything will work here, even almond or cashew butter. Thanks so much for sharing! Happy Eating!

Glen and Noreen, I made this yesterday because the grandkids were coming over for dinner. It was great! I didn’t have the jelly room pan, so just used a 9x13, and it took a little longer to bake, but it was an excellent cake! I was slightly skeptical about the amount of sugar in the recipe, and it was sweet, but not TOO sweet. We all loved it. It will be a regular dessert at our house. Thank you both for the recipe!

Noreen's recipes will never steer you wrong- and Noreen is the reason I became aware of the Bosch mixer's existence, did some research when I was looking for the "perfect" stand mixer for making bread, and ultimately chose my beautiful Bosch over that more popular one that comes in a lot of colors.

Mmmm, peanut butter. I get the Kirkland's stuff from Costco. It's only peanuts and a touch of salt. Some of the best I've ever eaten. It's barely salty, naturally sweet, and flavorful. Love it.

That cake looks delicious... love peanut butter. Don't know about Canada but where I live there's the jelly roll pan (10 1/2 x 15 1/2 inches), the quarter sheet pan (just shy of 13 x 10 inches), and the half sheet pan (18 x 13 inches). What I'd like to try with this recipe is a peanut butter jelly roll with raspberry jam (deseeded) and whipped cream (her eyes light up)

Glen in the United States there is an employee owned grocery store named Winco that allows shoppers to grind their own nut butters, peanut, honey roasted Peanut, almond, or cashew. The straight peanut butter is always less per pound than any of the commercial peanut butters, and it's FRESH! It keeps for months in the pantry winter separating, which makes me wonder how long commercial peanut only peanut butters sit on the shelf that they are always separated.

Have you ever made your own Peanut Butter Glen ? I often make it using roasted Peanuts, water a pinch of salt and then I blitz it in a food processor until it’s the texture I like , which is slightly crunchy. Yummy. I am diabetic so by making my own I know for sure there’s no sugar or sweetener in it. I will definitely make this cake. Delicious 😋
