Fabulous - this was the last tour that the backing singers (i.e. Donna and whoever else at the time) still had a big role in the show...Jamie King got rid of all that prettty much from Confessions onwards... a shame :(
Vogue, Nobody Knows Me and Die Another Day were all completely mimed. Music was absolutely live. Into The Groove and Papa Don't Preach had some lipsynching, though I'm not so sure about the latter. But why do you think Music was mimed?
this is absolutely not the drowned world tour. though i suppose if you aren't good with details you could somehow confuse the short plaid skirt in drowned world with this long plaid skirt. they are both black and white. but her hair was much shorter in drowned world and she also didn't perform papa don't preach in drowned world.
I know that she has a short reprisal of the first verse of "American Life" but what is its symbolism? I mean, maybe it would have been relevant after "Imagine", but why after "Papa Don't Preach" and before "Crazy For You". It just doesn't make any sense....
I really like the Kabbala elements in the show like the opening "The Beast Within" or the symbol of the victory of the Good over the Bad during "Lament", but Madonna shouldn't promote a spirutal way that much

I think Vogue, Nobody Knows Me and Day Another Day are mimed too, because that´s not Madonna´s Live Voice, and I´m singer, so I know that you can´t sing as she does while doing some moves, it doesn´t matter if you are Madonna!!!! anyway she has an Amazing live voice, you can hear it when she sings Imagine, on this Tour, that´s live for sure, she even mistakes lyrics twice!!!! She´s the Queen anyway, no matter what!!!!!

I can compare it with the Blond Ambition one and it lacks for everything. Here there is no concept, the remix isn't strong, there's no suffering of the real song. It's so light! But the song is deep! Like in the whos that girl tour! Those are great ones, not this.
