I work for an engineering construction company as a BIM Engineer. I Learned Revit very rapidly and used it to my advantage so that I was able to get more responsibility quicker and faster. I then was able to learn BIM Coordination quickly without having to take the traditional stagnant path as a Modeler in my career. Coordination is the one skill that allowed me to Accelerate my Income, Responsibility and sense of purpose at work.
