Fantastic mate. Absolutely awesome seeing all these freelance crews getting out and bringing the quality footage home for those of us less fortunate to be stuck at home for one reason or another
I am Dutch and visited all the places you went to. Fantastic video. But I am so happy we never got stuck😂. Also nice to see is that the maheno wreck has sunk even further and has rusted even more.
@@theexplorelife Whilst I do agree with my man paul that the video could have been longer, i have to admit I love how you have condensed it into a standard 10-20 min youtube video, definitely more inviting for new guys like me. Cant wait for more.
Great episode boys. Love the length of the episodes, not too long & dragged out like most other 4x4 series. PS can you please try and do more winch reviews & cooking segments 😂
What are you guys doing for liters per 100 ? Like to know real world figures for each vehicle. On paper the Triton and bt50 and the 200 is under 10/100 etc good to know all the ins and outs. All videos on RUclips always talk about everything but no one ever talks about the behind the scenes like consumption and if there are any break downs. Everything is always just the good side of the stories. Keep up the great work guys 🍻
Toyota, Nissan, Mitsi banter never gets old 😂🤣Toyota LC ftw 👻🏆🔥 FIsd nvr disappoints either, some of the biggest Barra ever seen in Eli creek though, some say they grow that big from tubing so much🤙
Fraser Tips: 1) Bring a jerry can or two of fuel filled up on the mainland. Fuel prices are very expensive on the island. 2) Watch out for stingers in the warmer months along the cape and western side. 3) Keep your food stored inside your car. Never leave rubbish outside unattended or youll have a few visitors (Dingos) 4) Bring a boogyboard for lake Wabby. Rub candle wax on the underside to make it more slippery as you slide down the dune into the lake.
Good video boys. But there is no way I’ll ever be getting into the salt water at Frazer like you did, deeper than the waters edge, the sharks are pretty plentiful up there and the tiger sharks are bloody massive! 😳
Fraser Island was our second home! In particular, Wathumba Creek on the west side. Mind you, we were in our yacht, not a 4WD. I have always wanted to go back in our 4WD to explore the Eastern side and the middle. One thing we hear all the time, for sand and beach driving, is to drop the pressure in your tyres. But no one ever explains what pressure you should drop them too. I know it may be simple common knowledge amongst the experienced 4WDers, but to us grotty yachties, it's all new information!!! What pressure would you suggest?
Garry Beattie Hey guys! Such a good spot! Tyre pressure do depend on how much load you have and type of tyres but rule of thumb drop to 20 and go lower if need be. 👌
I've been at fraser Island a couple of times but never at sandy Cape, it looks just mind blowing, awesome, really but can u swim there into the ocean without any troubles? 🤔😉 Cheers
What leaf springs are you running on the 76? I've got dobinsons and am jealous of your shackle angle. Also specs on the lift, wheel offset and tyres would be appreciated especially any hub to wheel are measurements ;).
Yeh hi , great video I'm heading up in march just wondering did you camp at Woralie and if so how did you go with the sandflies ? I'm taking a off road camper would you suggest that seems like it was a third wheel for you.
Darren Hacking Umm with the camper it can slow you down in some spots but if you are going with someone who can snatch you out and your camping for a few days at a time might as well take it for comfort.
We live in such a beautiful country and are lucky to have places like Fraser on our doorstep, keep up the videos boys 👍👍

Paul Eivers Hahah wish I had the budget!!
@@theexplorelife Whilst I do agree with my man paul that the video could have been longer, i have to admit I love how you have condensed it into a standard 10-20 min youtube video, definitely more inviting for new guys like me. Cant wait for more.

Where is the place they go that is so blue? Where they tow the ski board with the car? The 14:40 mark on the vid.
I've been at fraser Island a couple of times but never at sandy Cape, it looks just mind blowing, awesome, really but can u swim there into the ocean without any troubles? 🤔😉

Darren Hacking Umm with the camper it can slow you down in some spots but if you are going with someone who can snatch you out and your camping for a few days at a time might as well take it for comfort.
