Astoria and Seaside Beach Oregon were 2 of the most memorable places we have ever visited. Have you ever been there? And of course, the Goonie sites were a movie bucket list destination. Leave a comment and tell us what you think. You can subscribe here.......www.youtube.com/@oureverydaygetaway
We love y’all’s videos!! Y’all are so funny… just like me and my husband of 55years! So down to earth and honest, no fake crap like some videos we watch! Or don’t watch! Keep up the good work!!! Doug , & Doris from Chattanooga Tennessee.
Love Cannon Beach..... One of our favorite places we've visited in RV Life!! Tucker was so happy in the water!! Ecola State Park is amazing too!!! Enjoy!!
Glad you guys (and Tucker) enjoyed the area. Astoria is a great little seaside town. I (Leslie) am a Goonies fan as well and I'm excited to see Goonies 2 😊. I agree with Katrina, wood ain't cheap so it's coming with us! 🙃
Visiting movie destinations is fun and nostalgic when it’s an old movie. We are actually going to where some of Shawshank Redemption was filled this weekend! Safe travels! - Mike and Shelley
Awesome video.... I agree with Tucker loving it. Our pups are loving the RV trips, seeing something different and new. Makes me happy that they are happy
Hi Chris and Katrina! That is so cool you went to see the place where they filmed The Goonies! It’s been a long time since I’ve seen that movie. And Kindergarten Cop. What a nice place to visit. Thank you for taking me along. Hope you have a great weekend and week.
The whole Oregon coast is the ABSOLUTE best!!! I know this was filmed almost 2 months ago but the PNW has great places to boondock as well. My favorite place in the world 💚. ~Kim
Never flush black tank with the outlet valve shut. Thats why there is a warning label telling you that. Disaster is just waiting to happen if you dont follow the correct procedure.
The bad thing about dragging firewood all over the country is you risk taking bugs into new areas. The spruce beetles are a good example. they are killing thousands of acres of spruce trees in Alaska. The last thing you want to do is take them into a new area. Once the trees are dead, they are a great fire risk!
Wow..., Is this a second video in a row that Chris is drinking a beer? 😂. The Oregon coast has always been on my "bucket list". Glad you two had a chance to spend some time there. Till cocktails. Oh.... BTW. One of the classes that I am helping with here in AZ is a mixology class. JS 😊😊😊😊
Hey Friends Cannon Beach one of our favorites !! Tucker for sure livin his best life our dogs love our beaches the best for doggies! That thousand trails is a good one we even walk into town. Oh Katrina that was some great acting skillls! Yep Goonies must have seen it 100 times oh Katrina Josh Brolin oh yes!Not Dempsey Cant buy me love oh boy! Ok giys Seaside is our favorite place and Doogers is our number one recommendation we go a couple times a year since we were kids forever its the best but seriously you scared us cause I know we told u to go the Doogers and when I saw Iggys we were like what the hellis Iggys so we have went to over half the restaurants in seaside never ever heard of iggys maybe its new so glad you went to Doogers! Anyway glad you like pur favorite spots cant wait for u to get back here!😊
Also as a former Forester it is frowned upon to carry firewood to different regions. It can introduce invasive species that can be detrimental to an ecosystem...😁
The two gals that live in this TT is the ones that sold us our membership. Rick has never seen the goonies. We were told by the visitor center that the owner of that house is not receptive of visitors so we didn’t go up there. Weren’t impressed with the museum.
When we arrived at the house from the Goonies there was no car in the driveway and all the blinds were down. There were many others coming and going while we were there with no problem. I have to agree the museum didn't do a thing for me.
Hold on to your hats cause Ive never seen the goonies, as i was a young adult not interested in kid movies to busy working n partying my butt off! 😂. And i would have burned that wood upon first opportunity, to get rid of a make work project lol. Oh, Fresca aint adding any weight if it's fresca light! 😂🍻
You should not be transporting firewood from location to location. There’s a reason that’s a policy. You might be transporting insects in the wood from one area to another and it can decimate certain types of trees in the new location, introducing non native pests to that new area. Oregon is on our travel list.
Haul firewood around? Hell no!! THAT is not the kind of wood Big Blue is carrying 😊. All the state parks in Indiana camping strictly prohibits carrying in firewood BTW

Tucker looked soooo happy! 😃
So happy he finally went out in the water and enjoyed himself.😊
Nothing better than the goodies and a family outing to the beach! Great video.
I totally agree!
So cool! 😎. Thanks for taking us along 😊❤
Thanks guys! Still need to plan a time we can get together soon.

So happy you said that. I thought it was only me who liked the peach and not the black cherry.😁
Love Cannon Beach..... One of our favorite places we've visited in RV Life!! Tucker was so happy in the water!! Ecola State Park is amazing too!!! Enjoy!!
We'll have to go back sooner than later as we didn't schedule enough time in the area.
Happy wife happy life😊
You got that right!
Love how y'all showed the goonies filming locations! The impressions were spot on, lol! Safe travels!!
Thank you! You too!

Thank you! I will admit I'm a lot more thrifty than Chris when it comes to our finances. All in all I always take what I purchase with me.
We enjoyed Long BeachWa, Astoria, Seaside and cannon beach!!! Loved all the PNW
100% agree!! Beautiful area!
That's a fun bucket list adventure!
Thanks! We had a great time on the west coast.

That is awesome! That's one of the great things about traveling in an rv. Our pups get to enjoy the places with us.😊
One of the nicer Thousand Trails in the NW collection. This is my area. Glad you enjoyed your time. Way to go Tucker being a big boy!
We will definitely be returning to the area.😊 Tucker said thanks 👍

Great destination! Will add it to the list! Thanks for sharing!
Absolutely, thanks for watching. 😊
Love the Goonies. Another great movie stop is at the visitors center in Fargo North Dakota. They have the wood chipper from the movie, Fargo.
Oh wow! Nice to know.
Great video guys! We love that area and Seaside...can't wait to get back there next Spring.
Have fun! See you guys this winter.
Really nice place thank you
Thanks Ade.

Oops! Hopefully this doesn't happen again.
Definitely make more time in ALL of Oregon. I come over from Australia to visit as it's a State that won my heart.
That's awesome! Oregon is now one of our favorite states to visit.
I bring fire wood every where we go. Many times i bring it home and take same wood out again. Glad you did a movie bucket list.

That is true.
Many states don't allow wood to be taken from state to state.
That is true.
Love this beach
So happy we were able to visit the area. Looking forward to returning sooner than later.

@@oureverydaygetaway Raspberry Margaritas anyone?
What a cool town. 🙂 Maybe next time take the Class A and have your own washer and dryer. A tow vehicle is nice too. You can't park the RV everywhere.
It really was! From now on we will be taking the class A and our tow with us on all our travels. Stay safe and have a wonderful weekend.

Beautiful area for sure! Very different from the East coast but still just as fun! Fingers crossed we make it out the west coast sooner than later.
When you show the Fresca, you need to pop in the CaddyShack clip of Judge saying...Hey, how about a Fresca.
Yes!! That's a great clip!
Also as a former Forester it is frowned upon to carry firewood to different regions. It can introduce invasive species that can be detrimental to an ecosystem...😁
Yikes
Hi guys!! Love your videos, I am seeing the country thru your eyes ❤❤❤ one question... do you ever wish you towed a small car when you go so far?
Yes, we totally miss towing a vehicle.
I'd keep the wood too...
We finally used it at our next campsite. 😊

Haul firewood around? Hell no!! THAT is not the kind of wood Big Blue is carrying 😊. All the state parks in Indiana camping strictly prohibits carrying in firewood BTW
LOL! I think that's the case for most states but how do they know??? Just sayin.
That $10 bundle of wood from Alaska will cost you $30 more in fuel by the time you get back to Maryland.
LOL, thankfully we burned it before we left the west coast.
Ummm. Goldens are retrievers…as in water retrievers? They have webbed feet for Pete’s sake! 😂🐶😂🐶😂🐶😂
