    Those are the kind of dishes I end up making since I live alone and have most of what I would need to make such dishes. That dish looks great and would be what I would make with my Instant Pot and microwave oven. Right now I need to go shopping to fill my pantry and refrigerator with items I need since I have eaten up most of what I have. Thanks so much for sharing that dish idea with us all and may the rest of the week be fantastic for you.

    This recipe should nearly have been in the quarantine kitchen! Great "do it yourself" recipe for people stuck in second/third wave close down. Family loved it - and agreed about the Mediterranean influence the combination of salad and this hot dish is a keeper! Thanks again Christine - we are just waiting for a new video - but until then we can enjoy the older ones we have not tried so far!

    I have watched most of your videos. You are a good teacher as well as a master chef. I have never thought of shredding sweet potatoes. I remember my mother often used turmeric for color in cooking and that was forty years ago. I have made a lot of hollandaise sauce but I never used clarified butter as you did in your video. I tried it with clarified butter and it was worth the extra effort. I look forward to your future videos.

    Thanks for this fabulous recipe....I thought I was good at using left over chicken. Wow, this is a great one I made it today. I have only used tahini in hummus, it tastes so good in this recipe. I’ll now try some of your others. I also like how you present them, straight to the point, no messing.

      I’m going to try eating miso soup; and some other Japanese foods like the veggie rolls for the next week; and when I’m ready to cook any leftover chicken;I’ll try to do it verbatim your way!

    This looks delicious but I am so not very good at combining bits and pieces of things to make a meal. My husband is really good at it though. The joke in our house-- 'he can make a meal out of a can of coke and a radish'.

    Great recipe - have to say "the washing of the hands" was way to much. I watch chef's on TV contaminate everything and wonder what a waste of food; you were dealing with leftovers - nothing raw no need for the over the top in this case.
    I will make this; but I hate sweet potato, I know its better for me, but I will amp up other veg to replace the fact that I hate sweet potato/yams not a fan.
    I am a fan of yours. great video, but i will use potato😜

    • @ChristineCushing
      @ChristineCushing  5 лет назад +1

      Thanks for watching . Of course, if you hate sweet potato, the whole point is to use what you have/like. Re, the hand washing, in this case, because we shot this live, I had greasy hands and had to wash them so it was more a direction to my camera that had to go to sink. It's such a quick and easy recipe so I hope you try it.
