After watching EifelDX's video which has footage of Tele-Sahel (in the year 1993), I saw that they're still using the same clip for the anthem(at least for this recording)!
Here in Mexico the main networks kinda did the same thing of using an old recording for the anthem, it seems that it came from the early 00s because it's still on 4:3 and looks like it was recorded 20 years ago (*EDIT* It's still used at least by Televisa, TV Azteca uses a new version, I don't know about the other networks) EDIT: They still use it lol. 9:46 And wooow, I thought that since EifelDX recorded the ID through TV-DX, the distortion caused the jingle to sound bad on his video (kinda like the cry of Electabuzz), but no, it's supposed to sound like that. Great
The last couple of songs featured in "Sahel Show" are bop as heck! PS: 9:46-10:01 Those rings reminds me of a certain television network from my country. 😉😉

It was among the first video formats to contain the videotape inside a cassette, as opposed to the various reel-to-reel or open-reel formats of the time. The videotape is 3⁄4 in (19 mm) wide, so the format is often known as "three-quarter-inch" or simply "three-quarter", compared to open reel videotape formats in use, such as 1 in (25 mm) type C videotape and 2 in (51 mm) quadruplex videotape. Tele Sahel still used the u-matic until 2021
Sahel Show is actually a neat program. This evening (1-2 AM in the morning where I live lol) they rebroadcast what I assume to be a broadcast from the previous weekend. Music from all over Africa was featured, but I think Ivorian music was quite dominant. I came across this banger from that selection: ruclips.net/video/WfIQ2kMdAQc/видео.html They even simply downloaded the video I linked to be broadcast on the show lol
Eso es. Lo que pasa es que Niger (pronunciado 'ni-cher') es un país muy pobre, y por lo tanto, es muy costoso hacer un clip nuevo. Es la razón en la que siguen usando el mismo clip de hace aprox. 30 años.
Wow.... It's been almost 30 years, and the anthem video is still here!
They could've made a brand new, completely different one right now, but they just don't
@@thanh2425they did
