PUTO MAYA//How Make Puto Maya bisaya//Easy recipe with tapul rice//step-by-step
Puto Maya is one of the many of filipino delicacies. And with the black rice or tapul rice in some Visayas region.
In this recipe I pre-soak the sticky rice and the black rice overnight.Puto maya is steamed glutinous rice with the combination of balck rice/tabular flavored with coconut milk and the ginger. Mildly sweets and the hint of saltyness in it.
it is popular breakfast in visayas with a hot cocoa.

2 1/2 cups sticky rice
1/2 cup black rice
ginger
1/2 cup white sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp salt 2 cups coconut milk
banana leaves
