    Good to see Tua getting props and credit. He had a great career in a very deep and talented time and was part of some of the most exciting (and brutal!) fan favorite fights of the era. Great Career!

    Yes, I used to watch the fights of David Tua and also the boxing legends at that time, during the nineties specifically, on television from Tunisia.

    I'm such a fan of this guy. Watched him live, knock out the Mexican Champion in the first 90 seconds of round 1. Always wanted to watch him knock Tyson out. Lol

    The one thing fight fans forget about David is how fast he is. During a fight, totally relaxed, feeling out process, jab here, there, etc. The only time you see the speed is when he’s putting someone away. Evidence of that speed is when he tagged Shane Cameron with 3 straight left hooks to the face while on his way down. It’s the reason why Tua is the most dangerous heavy weight ever.

    Ike Ibeabuchi had some serious power- about as terrifying as David's. Surprised he wasn't the name immediately given. Then again, David Tua is harder than a coffin nail and one rough and tough SOB.

    from all his fights, I think Lennox hit him the hardest. he's the only one that messed up Tua's face the most. But I think Lennox & Ike was his hardest opponents. big love & respect to the uso Tua! congratulations on HOF 👏

      It is amazing that he finally gained some recognition! And how much of an honor it was to meet him. Especially knowing the journey it took to travel from New Zealand to St Petersburg, FL for the event!
