Youre the man, i was on the phone with xbox live for 2 hours and they still couldnt fix the issue. Just like you, this error has been going on for many days and making me very upset. They had me go through the steps you explained and it still wasnt working. But for some reason when i found your video and tried your steps, IT WORKED! I think I'm blaming the culprit as playing on my profile at a friend's house, but either way, I'm back on now. Great execution.

Thank your for your vid, when I tried it it didn't work for me, I just had to delete my profile from my HDD before emptying the cache and then it worked.
Your vid was ten times more helpful than the guys at Microsoft who told me ( and I quote ) "Just buy a new 360 it'll resolve your problem".

Thank you thank you thank you! Started to get this message the other day, out of nowhere. I went through all of the xbox support options and none of them worked, including clearing the cache. After doing it 3 times like you suggested, switch off, log back in and then I got a different message asking to add proofs for additional security. Followed those, somewhat painful, instructions and done!

ive had this problem for months, when i had it there were no fixes out so i ended up switching to pc games and never looked back, then after i forgot about it i tried to come back to play a pick up game in halo and look at that im pissed off again
