    I don't agree with Waterloo being crucial. Even if the French had won the coalition would still prevail with more incoming forces. The turning point for Napoleon was the loss of his armies in Russia, although it wasn't a particular battle.

      Maybe but that would be another defeat for coalition and it could demoralize them

      @@build.betteryou The coalition was much more clever at the end they had multiple armies attacking from different directions. Recall the last months before the first abdication, Napoleon won many battles but still lost. Additionally, the French army was much weaker with many teenagers.

    The initial start showing the painting of a Russian throwing a 'bomb' at the advancing German tank reminds me of the farcical battle scene in the 1992 movie "Stalingrad" when the Germans, IN FOXHOLES, fend off a attack of T-34's with 'Molotov' bombs.. 😮‍💨

    Any honest answer has to be the Battle of the Milvian bridge for #1. Had it gone the other way, Christianity might never have been legalized, and the subsequent centuries would have been incalculably different for the entire world.
