Today we take you on a tour to Batu Caves, which is 10 km away from KL Sentral. You can easily reach here, while we took a Cab that cost us 20 MYR that translates to Rs 400. You can also reach through the local metro and the buses.
This is dedicated to Lord Murugan & the temple is made of limestone which is said to be around 400 millions years old. The main attraction here is the 140 feet statue which looks beautiful and tall and is visible from a far distance.
Once you reach, there is no tickets and you can directly start entering the cave by claiming the colourful 272 steps that are little tiring but once you see the energy around you easily climb these. Also you are accompanied by hundreds of monkeys that come close to pick up some snacks if you are carrying but its not suggested to feed them.
Once you reach the cave you will find three temples along with a refreshments shop in case you missing bringing water and are also tired climbing the stairs. It took us just 12 minutes to reach the top and then we could enter the temples. The caves have an amazing height with dark interiors and water dripping at a few places.
Overall its a silent space and you can spend a hour or two while having fun with the monkeys. Its a recommend place to visit if you are planning to visit Kuala Lumpur.

We have the same kind of temple of lord hanuman here in shimla. It's called as jakhu temple. There ia a 156 ft long statye of lord hanuman and there are so many monkeys there, they come to you and start searching your pockets, bags. They are so fearless. It's an amazing experience.. Do try to come Here sir

Thanks to people of Malaysia. In our country religion is all about money. In Govt of India trying to interfere in religious institutions and temple's. They selling us tickets to enter our religious places, like imposing religious tax's on us. Dividing our community in to different classes. Trying to control what we work, what we see, what we eat, what we learn. Through Malaysia have majority of Muslim community you have shown us what is true secularism. Love & respect from a Odia.
