Now it's the 3rd. Trailer I found here on YT. There are a lot of features I like for travelling shows. The only concerns I have is about stealing stuff or have Models stored permanent in theses Trailers. I wonder in last case if climate changes (humidity, heat or cold) would harm the material or if our damn german laws will allow driving these trailers through Germany or Europe. I mean we have LiPo's inside, Fuel and the electical stuff... If this is not installed by Profis It may cause very bad times to remember. The Idea behind these trailers I like very much. The very individual interior is impressing. Not sure if our TÜV will approve this...
One of the best RC trailers I have seen! Great Work!!! Would you mind sharing where you purchased the jack screw legs, and what they are called? I have looked all over and can't find them. Thanks in advance!
Hi Jim. Have been doing a lot of research, and have looked at numerous trailers here in Ohio. I wasn't impressed with the quality that you get . The pro line is my choice for the money. I ordered mine and will be making the trip to Virginia. It's worth it to me. Thanks for your help.
There is a lot of room on a trailers ceiling and I am designing a way to hang all my wings across the top so that I don't waste wall space like you did. Wall space is to hang planes.
An excellent customization for the R/C airplane fan. May I ask how much I should budget for a similar trailer with the rolling table and a similar interior layout?
Sure. I run 120 VAC in the trailer to a basic automatic battery charger, then out to the receptacles throughout the trailer. Everything else is powered off a 12VDC deep cycle battery that the charger us hooked to. This maintains the battery nicely.
Very nice trailer, one question how do you hold the wing panels from bouncing around? I can see the fuselage with the wheels are used to restrain the model but how do you restrain the wings from moving around. I have a smaller trailer that bounces around more that yours would and the wing panels get damaged if they are not held down.
Hi Jim. I'm getting ready to insulate and install FRP on the ceiling. Did you do yours? I see you have what looks to be one by running across your ceiling. I was wondering if you used that to keep the frp from sagging. Thx
I just used the unistrut as basically a drawyer slide. It's nested in another strut on the slide out. I also used is as a frame rail for the upper shelf.
Very smart trailer, inside and out.
Jim, it is amazing and I am, making a RC trailer for my planes,,, Thanks for the info, demonstration,, I will use many ideas from
you,,,,,, Mike
looks great I really like the slide out

RV awning on the side would be handy or a batwing "overland" 270* awning.
Nice trailer.......I really like the pullout workbench.

One year later, I'm going to say he was unwilling to provide the requested information. LOL.

Great idea. Not really wasted space, just different. Share it when you are done!!!

Very nice ,
Can u tell me how you hook up all electronics and where u get power from ?
Sure. I run 120 VAC in the trailer to a basic automatic battery charger, then out to the receptacles throughout the trailer. Everything else is powered off a 12VDC deep cycle battery that the charger us hooked to. This maintains the battery nicely.
can you share the store and part for the overhead led? very nice.
I used 2 conductor shielded cable. Ran it to the tongue where it plugs into an RCA connector going to the monitor
I got a combo off Amazon. 45 bucks I think, had monitor and camera
What did you use for the white ceiling ?
Awesome set up!! If you don’t mind me asking, what did you use on the roof to cover the insulation?
I used whiteboard panels from Lowe's. Stays clean and helps with the interior lighting
mind me asking, that shore power on the side of trailer, is that cover plastic and where did you pickup please.
How did you store the wings?
I like your trailer. How do you have your backup camera wired into the monitor in the truck?

Fred Cronenwett I use small bungies and hold them to the wall
Hi Jim. Nice job. Could you please tell me where you found the screw jacks for the adjustable legs? What a cool setup. Thx
Robert Fenton I made them from conduit. Milled a slot in it, welded a nut in one end and used threaded rod
Jim Bodenheimer Thx Jim. I thought so. It looked like you fabricated it. Thanks for sharing your ideas.
Hi Jim. Got my proline. Which backup system did you use? Thx

Robert Fenton I used white board with 1x3 to seam it
where did you get the slide track for your bench
Tommy Miskura It's unistrut. Normally used to hang conduit and piping. Lowe's or Home Depot has it
Hi Jim. If you wouldn't mind, where did you find the warehouse shelving that you used? Thx
Robert Fenton I actually got it from a warehouse that was going out of business
What runs inside the Unistrut?
I just used the unistrut as basically a drawyer slide. It's nested in another strut on the slide out. I also used is as a frame rail for the upper shelf.
what size is the trailer 6x12?
yes it's 6x12
I spent less than 500 on the interior.
CAN NOT HEAR YOU
Is there any sound? Been up for 3 years now and haven't had an issue but want to make sure you can hear it.
