Been following you for 3+ years right when I decided to get off of heavy drugs // I watch you everyday & it’s a reminder of how far I’ve come & the growth to fallow // I am an artist & musician in Austin Texas // just wanted to thank you & tell you how much I appreciate you!! ❤
One Austinite to another: my applause for making the hard decision to clean up, and for staying true to it. Our town's had a lot of people who couldn't manage to do what you're doing.
I appreciate when you put over priced things back. It helps the rest of us get reasonably priced items. It’s all about “what the traffic will bear.” If people stop “bearing”, the prices will go down.
I’m in a few Christmas fb groups and I about died when you passed up the ceramic Santa and and Mrs. Clause! People collect those like CRAZYYY. Plus I’ve never seen a Mrs. Clause quite like that one 🤩
I know, it kills me to see how much Vintage holiday $$$$$ she passes in her videos and never picks up. Especially when something is right next to a glass piece!!!
16:00 When I go down an aisle and look over everything *very carefully,* then I pass by the aisle again and there are new things on the shelf, I say, out loud, to myself-“Those are new. They were not there before,” just to let myself know that I am not crazy.😅
Hi Jocely! I just wanted to thank you for all of the information you share! You have different items than I usually find here in So. Cal. I found an M.A. Hadley canister and four bowls at a garage sale today and I spotted them immediately because of you!
Jocelyn, I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoy your videos. You have a natural joie de vivre that comes across in your voice and interactions with others. You don't push yourself or your accomplishments down people's throats, but those things are clear with the level of knowledge you possess and your willingness to show how to look up comps, be wrong sometime, and absolutely deight in the simple, endearing things of life (you just know that little "boop" on the snowman's nose warmed his little ceramic heart ❤️). Thank-you for being kind, conscientious and helpful; your parents, Drew and the kids are all wonderful, too!!
I enjoy browsing with you! I'm a Senior Citizen so getting rid of my stuff before I leave my home, or die! 😂 I used to enjoy the Thrift stores but now I just use Amazon delivery 🚚
I was at the Springfield Extravaganza yesterday filming for my antique channel and kept thinking - that's a CLL item, that's a CLL item! Ha!! I buy prims and early antiques, but I enjoy your channel and learning about the special pieces you find!!
The little brass shell looking thing may be a "linen tester", A magnifying glass... You place it in contact with what you want to view, then look through the eye piece. It is for counting the thread count of linen... And were also used in print shops to look closely at the printing to double check quality. It can be held to the item being viewed up in the air with the light behind it for better viewing, or down on a light table. Of course... That's just a guess on that item. One would have to look through it with something up next to the other end to know for sure. If that's what it is, I'd love it... But its probably not worth a lot.
Agreed. My mom told me once about my grandmother many years ago donating something and then seeing it priced high on the shelf. She was upset and I guess went and shared her disgust with the staff at how something they were given for free was priced so high.
10:44 I see what you're seeing on the glaze, but I am just not at all convinced it's Frankoma. To begin with, the white clay on the underside is comPLETEly alien to any clay pit near Ada or Sapulpa either one. Second, Frankoma DIDN'T always mark their wares, particularly the early pieces made with Ada clay. I own any number of early Frankoma pieces which are totally innocent of any mark at all; they're only attributable because stylistically they couldn't be anything else. But mainly Frankoma never used white clay, to my knowledge.
Ha!!! I saw one of my listings. The Rae Dun HOME birdhouse. The buyer that won the auction never paid so I had to realist it. Funny it still shows up under sold.
It is a glitch that ebay sold prices remain regardless of whether or not the transaction is complete. This is what people use to pretend that something is very valuable, like a beanie babie selling for 50000...😆 🤣 😂
$9.99 seems like someone was too lazy to change the price print out. Too many things not worth that price. Booping Mr. Snowman, lol. The piece you "snatched" from the other side-ceramic with flowers, is the top to a night light plug in that will also melt a wax melt scent. Hook ones can use for keys, dog leashes, necklaces, measureing spoons etc. Next time look for Pheasents not quails, may help.❤❤💙💙
I used to watch you when you were just starting your business. It was when your other daughter was real young. Just caught up with you again. Have watched you for two days noe. We collected depression glass when it was all the rage. Don’t know what I’m going to all the junk we have stored up. My husband passed almost two years ago. We used to go junking all the time. We never bought those high dollar glass pieces it I think they have been made since then.
Oops sent comment to soon. I like cats like you do. We have about 15 real ones. We have two new ones we’re raising for inside. I used to make cats from old quilts and sell them to shops. I sold for $15 and they doubled price in their shops. I’m 77 now so can’t do all that stuff anymore. Good luck with your beautiful glass and other things.
The small magnifying 'eye piece' might be for 'at the surface' of a flat glass slide holding some kind of specimen .... OR.......if you turn the 'eye piece' around.....it might work as well......maybe for star gazing......
Referencing the Desert Rose, my grandmother, mom, and aunt all collect it. Eventually, I'll wind up with about 60 dinner sets + serving pieces. I don't even know that many people 😂
Oh my goodness!! At 17:39, what was the tiny thing on the end of the aisle when you left the Christmas? Was it the angel’s kissing partner? Loved this video!! So funny seeing the same things in Jessie’s!!❤
That little metal thing that was blurry when you looked through it is a peephole. The only reason I know is cause my dad gave me one a couple of years ago.

Good for you!! Something to be very proud of 😊
Thank-you for sharing and congratulations on 3+ years! That’s amazing!
Wow, how amazing Jocelyn that your kindness affects others in this way. And Ashley! You are GREAT! ❤ From Oregon Kay
You go Guy

God bless you

Thank you for making me smile!!!
Ok the “Misses Santa got some lip fillers for Christmas “ made me spit my water out lmao 🤣🤣🤣

You always seem to find bunnies with freaky eyes!🤣
And you always find really good items..I just love to see your videos,Jocelyn.🙏🏻🥰
I bought my first two pieces of Murano today! I was never into glass until I started watching your vids! :D
Hi Jocely! I just wanted to thank you for all of the information you share! You have different items than I usually find here in So. Cal. I found an M.A. Hadley canister and four bowls at a garage sale today and I spotted them immediately because of you!
They don't make M.A. Hadley pottery anymore. So buy it when you see it, if the price is right ofcourse😉
@@rikkemeek1506 luckily it was a GREAT price!
Ah, you should keep one of those key holders and hang it by the door at the shop 😊
Have a super weekend everyone!!!!!!!!!!
I owned a garden shop for 16 years. The duck is a pond floater and retails for $22. Oregon Kay 😊
Prices have gone up in the area stores here in Oklahoma
I sold one of those Napco kissing angels for $14 without her kissing partner. It's definitely worth picking up.

The thing you didn't know what it was is a shade for a plug in warmer.
As a boy mom, I love the little boy angels, especially with the month!! I never find them!
I got to meet Kate this past weekend on her adventures! So cool to meet someone I follow!
That rabbit had seen some stuff 😁
😂
Yeah, those book ends are nice!
Frame 9:31 That brass looking glass item would have been something Andrew could identify, I bet !
The bookends are not quail, they're pheasants. 😊
What's funny to me is that I had just watched a Lady Mary Beth video and she called two little quails pheasants. And now this lol.
Did she buy them?
😊
Yes they are pheasants and ringed neck type from China!
Hahaha.... was just going to mention that!
I think those are pheasant bookends. Might make looking them up easier.
I passed on 3 Ganz Carolyn Coffees today. I’m thankful that you confirmed my decision 😜
She is cute tho
They'd be fine for people like me who aren't resellers. I have a small collection

“The shelves are packed”
“Everything is $9.99”
These are directly related. I am surprised you stayed to look.
If I drove there I'm not running out the door in 2 minutes. But I'm not going to spend a half hour walking around

I love going on your thrifting adventures with you. It's so interesting and your voice gives a calming effect.😊
Loved that little Angel, partner or not. The colorful vase you put back was gorgeous.
11:50 "What is that?" It is the top that goes on a lightbulb base for aromatic wax melt cubes.
Are you sure you were at the Goodwill or the $9.99 store? 😂
The prices have gone crazy! You can get pieces cheaper at antique stores.
Yes and they're cleaned up and identified and not surrounded by garbage
That strange shaped China piece with the hole in the bottom was the shade for a night light.
You can use a warm hair dryer to help remove tape and stickers. Just warm for a couple of minutes and peel off. 😊

Come on Good Will do the prices have to be 9.99 !
No ... they don't!
I loved that grey glazed duck! I would have bought that and used it for my decor. You could have sold that on your whatnot sale.
I'm surprised she didn't look it up on her image search ap.
Goodwill price gouging hurts those who need help.
Nice to see everyone!
The little "looking glass" looks like a peep hole you would see on Apartment or hotel doors
Goodwill prices are too high, so people are not shopping there as much. No customers equal more high price items sitting on the shelves!!
Agreed. My mom told me once about my grandmother many years ago donating something and then seeing it priced high on the shelf. She was upset and I guess went and shared her disgust with the staff at how something they were given for free was priced so high.
I love watching your rummaging… and what sells in the USA. Thanks!
The birds on the bookends are pheasants, not quail
Jocelyn, with your amazing following and reputation, I’m wondering do you feel the 2nd q slow down like us smaller sellers?
I liked the duck. Numbed you didn’t pick it up.

the snowman cookie jar was “so very cute” until… she turned over and saw Gibson 😂
Fillers! LMBO! Good one!
Glad I am not the only one with a thing for teleflora
I think it's hysterical how I find exactly the same things in my Goodwill all the way over in Las Vegas.

There are vases over here now, so THAT’S kinda wild! ❤😂❤
Try a blow dryer instead of hot water to remove tape.
The Desert Rose plates were old, made in the USA.
The little floral thing was the top to scentsy like plug in burner/night light
I believe the mermaid tail goes on top of a Rae Dunn mug.

that little soup tureen. i am in love sooooooo cute!!!

Price hikes kinda take take the fun out of it don't it.
The white jar with daisies- I have sold before and it should have a lid. 15:27
Yes that's one of those apothecary jars and it should definitely have a lid!
I saw checkers on a tall cup maybe Makenzie childs
I would have not put the duck back, but that's just me. Pheasants, BTW. Good luck!
In the 80s Walmart was selling reproduction depression glassware.
I wonder if the looking glass thing is to see small markings on things and not for distance.
Or a door peephole.
I believe it is a door peephole.
Luv your content…
Oh the pheasant s love them
I think that one at about 1:54 1:55 was a Blue Sky house .
That fish looked like Joey Mars

Just an FYI. The bookends you bought in this video are not Quail......they are Pheasants.

Hey, ask George, but I think he said early Francoma had no markings.
It sure looked like francoma
use a hairdryer or hot water works too
