I cannot wait to travel out to London for the first time hopefully soon
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it. Take good care!
Great video, thank you. Im a new immigrant and this is exactly what i need to make a decision for my future neighborhood.
By all means, email at melsellslondon@royallepage.ca. I’d be glad to help.
Great video Melanie, Thank you. This is definitely a great neighbourhood, my wife and I just invested in cute century home on English St.
Well, Congratulations. I’m glad you’re enjoying it. Get out there and do some shopping there’s some great very cool spots. Thank you for the compliments on the video will be doing more this coming year.
Subscribed. OEV is an odd name, we use call it just East End London. Dundas Street from downtown to the east was all part of same downtown. The difference on the east end is the city planners just couldn't revive that part of town once Hudson's & shortly after Brass Rail disappeared. Frankly & personally I use to avoid it, even for coffee shops.
I'm glad you said used to. Now the Old EastVillage has some of the most interesting, fun and intuitive shops, including their coffee shops!
Tony's Pizza used to be called Tony's Pizza Cave when I was a kid and lived in that area in 1973. Hudson's was a great department store back then too.
Best blog insaf India
By the way, may i please contact you for more helpful details about this topic?
I don't wanna be rude or nothin but your caption is wrong. OEV is still real bad, it's just being gentrified and it's barely working, a man was shot three minutes from my house a few weeks ago and for OEV and the surrounding areas its nothin new. I'm glad u enjoy it n all but to anyone lookin to move to the OEV jus be careful
Of course its got its cool things and the new hippie shops n all that but it's really not the hotspot of where u wanna move. I mean the factory is awesome and i love how i can just bike there but again someone was shot right by there a few months ago, so be careful I guess. You'll be safe if you're not involved in crime or anything but if you're flashy with your nice stuff you'll be robbed/mugged. The parts in the OEV closer to downtown have really cool shops n allat but yeh
Thanks for chiming in. It's a cool area and like many up and coming neighbourhoods it still has it's issues. I've always felt that the closing of the LPH left many mentally challenged people literally out in the cold. Just this girls opinion. There are now many low housing initiatives that I hope will lesson the problems in the area. I apologies for the late reply, I hope to improve. =D
@@homesforlifelondon ofc, its not like its the worst neighbourhood ever but by londons standards, its pretty bad
@@xaedc Maybe, I'm hoping it will clean up in the future. I still really love the area and all the cool shops and restaurants. #positivethinking
@@homesforlifelondon I hope so too
