    Hi Giang-
Great video, thanks. Question on the second basic operation (profiling the center section)- it is possible with the Rib option to offset the cutter to the left/right (i.e. in the same way you might use a +/- value for stock to leave on walls)? It is a simple trick to use for creating cylinders of different diameters, but without control of offset, you are limited by the cutter diameter.
    Regards
    CW
ps- your English is fine- no problem understanding everything you say...

Hi Rob, thank you for following my video and for your comment. i think you can not do it directly. The trick is you can try to move / extend or shorten the surface, then the center-line of the surface will follow your adjustment :D

    Hi Giang
Great video friend thanks I hav mastercam x5 I made I did the same example as you but I have a problem on the first rib or figure. Because the tool jumps when I put Depth cuts and then does not jump. If I change it to Depth cut order I'll put it by depth

Hello. Who can help me with one question? Is it posable in MasterCAM create processing by OptiRough toolpath without colisions with fixture? In my case fixture is solid bodies with difficul configuration and I need that toolpath has avoid my fixture. Before I worked with Siemens NX 11 and PowerMILL (there are it is posable and ease).

Do you mean in NX 11, you can use volumill without hitting the fixture? I have no experience with NX or PM, but in Mastercam, you can simply put the part you need to machine and the fixture together and tell Mastercam what's the material boundary, set up all the parameters, then you will get the right toolpath. I have to admit that the parameters in Mastercam are more complicated than other softwares, but also way more powerful. BTW, Votex is not as good as volumill or dynamic milling. Upgrade your Mastercam to the newest version, you will like it.
