MPs react to Ottawa's approval of B.C.'s request to recriminalize hard drugs in public - May 7, 2024

On Tuesday, the federal government announced it approved British Columbia's request to recriminalize illegal drug use in public spaces.
Last month, the province asked Health Canada for a change to the exemption it granted under a pilot project in place since last January. Since then, the Liberal government has been under fire from the opposition Conservatives.
