Thanks
Cheers for the shout Kevin - my Tenerife surf vlog is indeed up on my channel. Let me know when you’re up for catching a few waves - soon have you standing up on a board in no time. Ps- love all the bars around that area - jags, sax bar etc. - a night out in itself that little area! 👍
I might need to leave the surfing to you Colin can hardly walk at the moment lol
Nice lively bars Kevin another good one 👍
Thanks
It’s very lively around the patch, it’s nice to see it back to normal, can’t wait to be back in October
what date you over Dave ?
@@ScotsmaninTenerife the fourth to the eighteenth Kevin
Stayed at that H10 hotel and those bars along there are very good also the 1st restaurant is brilliant
Used to goto brewers droop years ago was always busy
Nice walk. The Drunkn Duck, just a few yards up from where you finished, is a British bar. One of the first to open, in the early 1980s. Always busy. I’d love to see it on your walk.
Sorry missed it
Pity about the Brewers Droop Kev used to be a great night ,did the Gaelic Corner used to be called The Full Monty I remember seeing two nuns The Sisters Of Mercy I think they were called hilarious double act
Freddie Matos one of the guitar players in the Sax Bar is amazing…..
Can totally agree re Sax bar having an awesome band - how they do that tricky classic rock, night after night, with such passion is beyond me. Been in Princess Di's a couple of times and the karaoke presenters have always been good, with reasonably priced beer.... and there is a bit of a gay vibe going on - or am I missing something. Perhaps it's just the times I was in were probably pre drag acts?
Hi Kev, we've stayed at the H10 just next to the Dubliner. Been in.a few of those bars. Our favourite was the "Deep Blue" just next to the Aberdeen Steakhouse, but it was closed last time we were there at Christmas 😔
walked by Deep Blue last week surprised to see it closed, video soon from h10 .
Like the gaelic corner but 4euros for a pint of lager 🤔
yip dont mind when live music on I expect to pay more but during the day plenty of bars 1.50 - 2 Euros nearby.
😎👍🏻
Never been this area
Just can't think where it is
Thanks will have a mouch round over weekend mate
Is it far from Med Palace 🤔
10 min walk

Hi I’m trying to work out where a bar I used to go in around 1992 was called the pig and whistle. Pretty sure it was on the patch, seem to remember you could go out of the back way down into what used to be flanagans. Any ideas where it was and what it is now? Cheers Rich

All I see are middle aged people over 40. Why is that ? Do they come in 'off season' ?
Is Sax Bar still owned by Tom Kellican - The Skids original drummer ?
Tom now works in benidorm bar , you will find over 40s is prob the average age in Tenerife lol
