This Is Love era is probably my favorite SuJu era. The MV aesthetics, the mic choreo, the vocals for the repackage with Evanesce, the acting, the camerawork...all of it is right up my alley. If you get a chance to watch the concert version of Evanesce, you totally should it's one of my favorite kpop performances ever. One More Chance is probably one of my most favorite SuJu song ever. There are lots of favorites in this video lol, such good choices. They have quite a few ballads on all of their albums and I always got more into SuJu's b-sides than their title tracks.
I'm a non ELF but I agree with your choices!! This Is Love is probably my fav title song from the boys. Black Suit is probably 2nd on my list. I remember how hard Heenim fought for One More Chance lol (love the song too)
Trivia Time: Sorry Sorry Answer was actually the version Yoo Young Jin wrote and sung for himself (there's actually a solo recording version of him) ... But then I read that SuJu had heard that version and requested him to do a group version ;) ... But Yeah, he still left his mark with those Insane adlibs ! In the Live version, YESUNG handles those notes with such incredible power !!!

Very cool!! Sorry, Sorry was my introduction to Kpop a very, very long time ago. I didn't come across the song in the usual way, but through a video I stumbled upon of the CEBU Prison inmates dancing. CEBU prison, at the time, was overcrowded, dangerous, housing the worst of the worst and the Warden decided to experiment by requiring the inmates to DANCE!! As a result of dancing, the violence within the prison was reduced to ZERO and the cell doors were able to be left open for the inmates to practice whenever they wanted. M. Jackson's choreographers were so impressed that they traveled there and taught the inmates a routine....if you get a chance, they are really amazing to watch. The first dance I saw them perform to was Sorry, Sorry and I had to go looking for the song...didn't even know the name or the language! That's how I found Super Junior .... way back when they were 13 + 2. ARMY grandma....always an 'ELF'....my favorite song/video....'Don't Don'

I know ELF pretty much forgot they exist , but I really recommend for you to check Suju-M songs yoo, personally I think among all the subunits have the best discography, and Henry Lau is crazy talented (dancing, singing, composing and playing violin and a tons of other instruments) and Zhou Mi voice is so underappreciated
that part where you were saying their names aloud as they appeared on screen made me laugh ngl i was doing THE EXACT SAME THING when i was trying to memorize their names back during the sorry2 era hahaha like oh man it really was a conscious effort to learn who was who. and then the time comes when you'll start recognizing which voices belong to whom even with no video
Just wanna point out at what you said during One More Chance reaction, whilst SJ can still continue with whatever number they have, any of the three main vocalists - Yesung, Ryeowook and Kyuhyun - has to be in the mix somehow because a number of SJ's songs have technical skills that only these 3 monster vocalists can handle. So during Mamacita era, there were Ryeowook and Kyuhyun to keep things vocally afloat and during Play era it was Yesung who hard carried the group vocally. And that's the truth because even though other SJ members are great vocalists in their own right, KRY is just another level. And truthfully no vocalist from other Kpop groups could step in to cover some of SJ's songs as well where KRY are prominent.
Just to be clear, SJ has three main vocalists; Kyuhyun, Ryeowook and Yesung (KRY). During the Black Suit era, which includes One More Chance and Lo Siento, both Ryeowook and Kyuhyun were in the military (they are both the Maknaes of the group). So Yesung had to carry the vocals of that era by himself, and he did a great job. And then for Mamacita and This is Love/Evanesce, Yesung was in the military. So for albums 7 and 8 we didn't have KRY together. Though for their special album Devil, which comes inbetween 7 and 8, we had all three for a bit.
I really love yesung's voice, you should watch yesung's solo Here Iam mv. And he also cover c.h.a.o.s.m.y.t.h by one ok rock it was very amazing 🙌🙌🙌. Btw thank you for the reaction, i really enjoy it 💙💙💙
I'm so glad you liked Evanesce! It's a song I hold near and dear to my heart (along with the rest of the Mamacita album). idk if anyone else mentioned it, but Heechul's rap in This Is Love namedrops the titles of like 16 other SuJu songs which is a stupidly high number for how short the rap feels.

Thanks for getting around to "Sorry Sorry Answer", Actually there aren't so many SuJu dance practices. Most recent ones are from their reality shows, more like "making ofs". "Sexy Free and Single" is one of the best early ones. I agree about them being good actors. They were partially chosen and trained for that and some of them are actors on the side, eg Siwon. I think this is also supported by the fact that there are more individual and diverse personalities than most idol groups. And yes Leeteuk changes his look a lot (eg his red hair in the "Black Suit" era, also in "One More Chance" vs the very short dark crop in the "This Is Love" era), and I like some looks more than others, but he always stands out to me by his heart shaped face, flirting with the camera and being particularly elegant. He was very buff for a while and together with Siwon usually provides the shirtless fanservice on stage. :) I wish he'd do more acting too, but he's already one of Korea's most sought-after MCs, so that ain't bad neither. ;)

Thanks for getting around to "Sorry Sorry Answer", Actually there aren't so many SuJu dance practices. Most recent ones are from their reality shows, more like "making ofs". "Sexy Free and Single" is one of the best early ones. I agree about them being good actors. They were partially chosen and trained for that and some of them are actors on the side, eg Siwon. I think this is also supported by the fact that there are more individual and diverse personalities than most idol groups. And yes Leeteuk changes his look a lot (eg his red hair in the "Black Suit" era, also in "One More Chance" vs the very short dark crop in the "This Is Love" era), and I like some looks more than others, but he always stands out to me by his heart shaped face, flirting with the camera and being particularly elegant. He was very buff for a while and together with Siwon usually provides the shirtless fanservice on stage. :) I wish he'd do more acting too, but he's already one of Korea's most sought-after MCs, so that ain't bad neither. ;)

@@LKTVLKTV they barely have official dance practices 😭 the only one on official channels is super clap, there’s some grainy old footage from some older ones like U, SFS, Don’t Don floating around too but other than that the choreo videos come from variety show performances and clips 🥲
