La France incorpore depuis longtemps des mercenaires alémaniques : alsaciens, lorrains, suisses, souabes, rhénans, bavarois, etc. Et ils ont un très bon sens du chant collectif, adapté pour la marche. Beaucoup de régiments français ont gardé cette tradition. Ce chant là est plus récent... il a été apporté par les allemands et autrichiens engagés après 1945 dans la Légion Etrangère. Les paroles ont été changées (et la tonalité baissée dans le grave). Je trouve que le résultat est très bon artistiquement. Le "Frank-Reich" incorpore depuis toujours toutes les traditions...
