Songs are for everyone!! And just because it’s a female empowerment song doesn’t mean we can all enjoy it, i mean, it’s a bop :) (ps: we need MORE female empowerment songs, being in patriarchal society i think it’s more than enough for men)
Saw this performed live at HITC NY and it was soooooo good live. This and Tippy Toes were sooooo good live! Hell ALL THE SONGS were amazing live. When the entire stadium yelled "Everything I do I do it A1 Flawless" was epic.
i think all the songs talking about "b*tches arent sh*t" or "im the king, i have all the money and all the hoes" are probably the male empowerment songs you're looking for lmao
@@ash.1353 exactly that made me uncomfortable and mad as well the way he kept saying it over and over again like we literally live in a patriarchal society y’all are already empowered
i’ve heard this song before but never watched the mv. i…am so in love with xg. i swear i’ve loved every song i’ve heard from them. like the only other groups who’s done that for me is new jeans-
You haaave to explore XG deeper! Like what the company's motto, slogan, idea for XG is. Cause it's all thereeee. (Imma just drop it anyway for readers) tldr; non-conformist, female AND male empowerment, be BOLD, be YOU. XGALX is an entertainment production company with a global presence, founded on bold creativity that produces artist groups with a distinct worldview. XGALX unites young women with an iconic female voice. Their music and performance is filled with a dynamic energy to spread a message of empowerment that will resonate with young people all over the world. "You're gonna cry me a river, baby, but I won't waste another single minute on you" means that it doesn't matter how sad you are were still not getting back together. Its a common hyperbole.
i know XG fans gonna hate me for saying this, but... i really think they should write their own lyrics cause ... it gives me"90s white kid try to act like cool black kid"kind of vibe.
They are too young. I think every singer should write their own lyrics but almost none of kpop artists write their own lyrics. Especially since they are under a label, i dont see them having much of a saying on this matter
XG for sure are amazing performers, they have really amazing rap, vocal, dance, and stage presence. They are already a whole package. But ofc I would be really happy to see them headin and participate to the direction of music making and artistic side too! They already ate the performers side🔥 what would happen if they also ate the artistic side? Chills!🔥
I understand what you're saying but be careful with your words since they can be interpreted incorrectly. Especially since XG's songwriters are mostly black writers/producers
While I don’t agree with your comment, I hope you also see the issue they have if they were to change writers. XG’s lyrics are mostly written by black writers. And since XG is heavily influenced by black music whether be it r&b or hip hop, it makes sense for their writers to be black. However, If they were to change their writers then that would be problematic for them. With a group with a big hip hop vibe, they need to be careful or else they will be bombarded with hateful comments and accusations of them being “racist” for the way others interpret their lyrics. Just now after their new tape being released with the rap line, people are already calling them racists and appropriators when XG is by far the ONLY group that’s doing justice to black music AND respecting unlike actual kpop groups. So it’s not as easy as you think. Hope fully they do learn to keep their signature sound and image while learning how to compose their own lyrics too and I don’t doubt they participate in it as well as of now.

With an industry and a society dominated by men, I don’t think we need a song for male empowerment 😂😭
That was what I was thinking 😭💀
Literally like ??
Took the words right out of my mouth lmaoo
I kept thinking through the video: well there is a reason why they don't exist boy
