Plenty of respect for this guy here, risked his life returning to the Kingdom of Hell to try and rescue his mother which he succeeded at thankfully, but sadly went to prison for it when he returned back to the South but the journey was still worth it and I’m glad to now see these two living safely, freely and happily in South Korea now, I would have done the same thing as well and before I even defected I probably would have thought twice and tried to take as much of my family with me quietly and carefully of course! God Bless these two!!!
It's not really free if he had to go to prison for going back for his Mum. This was an unusual case and this man should have been pardoned for what he did but sadly there is a lot of discretion of North Koreans in South Korea.
@@Britt-r3r Yeah I know, the South Korean Government shouldn’t have done that and they should have just let him go, he saved his mother, wish some good attorney came to this man’s rescue after he returned to South Korea with his mother!!
This is a strong example of filial piety, and a child’s love for his/her mother. One that is not tainted by greed, selfishness. Only the pure desire of a child to share a life of happiness and health with his parent
He is an honorable young man who risked his life to rescue his mother. He wanted freedom not only for himself but also for the one who brought him into this world.
That is strength, folks. Real, true strength. A true hero like few others. Thank you for sharing. Now stay very safe. Because you know NK people are in SK looking to silence people speaking the truth like you are. I hope you never show any background that could give clues as to where you're staying. And hopefully you move once in a while as well. It all helps keep both of you safe. So many NK people are careless in SK. A little bit of care can pay off hugely. You're worth it. She's worth it. All of you are worth it.
Wow 👏👏👏👏. Many of them find hard to live in South Korea as well bec of the discrimination. I wish S.K understand and give them more chances bec it is very hard to adapt into a new culture and world.
So true. Korean culture can be a little callous. Actually it can be very callous. Even in the south. They should welcome these incredible people with open arms. They show strength like few others. They are the true Korean heroes. 2 years in prison is ludicrous. But at least he could eat and didn't starve to death like in so many NK prisons where often the only way to survive is to consume flies. It's the only food that's plentiful in a NK prison!
What a brave and loving son this guy really is. Very admirable!
IKR
Is it really triple defection if he only went back to get his mother? Dudes brave as hell to do so. . .

He is so brave, almost no one would go back to NK the second time just to save their family
